Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Lakewood

First I would like to say I had went to cold stone a couple months ago and they had messed up my online order they gave me the wrong size and didn’t add the toppings I payed for. No big deal I called they gave me two coupons to get an ice cream for my next visit. So I went last night with my family and explained to the girl why I have the coupons for the free ice cream and she doesn’t bother looking at the coupons she was rude and told me and my husband you have to purchase 2 ice creams if you want your free ice cream. I explained to her no I do not. She insisted she was correct without even looking at the coupon And she said let me call my manager mind you I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old super happy to get ice cream my girls were singing ice cream the whole time in the store and on the way. This lady took 15 minutes on the phone with her manager! And after she asked for my coupons. After all the going back forth with this lady I no longer wanted to get my baby girls ice cream for how rude and long she was taking. I clearly asked her what her name was and she multiple times said she can not provide that information. Not one location I have ever gone too has ever told me they are not able to provide there name because of there company policy. She had the worst...

It’s was between Cold Stone and Tastee Freeze @weinerschnitzel. Should’ve went with Tastee Freeze. Spent 20$ on a medium signature blend and plain Chocolate in a cone. The portions are VERY small for what they charge. What I got looked nothing like the pictures displayed. I remember when Cold Stone first came out, the Ice cream barely fit in the cups. The Icecream I received didn’t even hit the top of the cup! Also the Ice cream tasted and looked watery which means the owner of the independent franchise store is being cheap and serving ice milk. Will NOT be spending money at Cold Stone anymore. Very sad how the quality has gone down. One good thing is Servers are polite.

The sweetest thing happened. As the employee name Franco ! was making my ice cream, he poured the extra into a small cup just for me. While I was waiting for my girlfriend’s turn to receive her ice cream, that little gesture made me feel like a kid again happy, cared for, and excited to come back.
