This is the second time that I have a horrible experience at this location . 1st time was a few months back where I placed an order online for food . my husband went to pick it up when picking it up curbside the food was just handed to him so he assumed I had paid for it. When he brought the food home I had assumed he had paid for it when picking it up but about 20 minutes later, I get a call from the establishment from the manager Luis who told me that the food was picked up and not paid for .when I asked my husband. He told me he assumed I had paid for it, Because when he arrived the food was just handed to him . When realizing what had happened I called back Luis to apologize for the situation and set up something where I could pay for the meal even though it had already been picked up but in the middle of my apology he began yelling at me telling me that I’m cheap that I’m ghetto that I can’t afford the food and that I could just keep it and hung up on me . That’s the type of service you will get from the manager there . 2nd time was today ! I thought what are the odds we would have another horrible experience mind you I’ve been going to outback for years now and that was the one and only bad experience I’ve ever had at any of these establishments so I took a risk and asked my husband to get us food from outback again well today he went in person to place the order and avoid problems / confusion. But when he went, there were 2 other customers ahead that were placing orders and waiting for their food when it came to my husband‘s turn he was helped by a woman named Tess. My husband was allowed to place the order, but when it came time for payment, Tess asked my husband for identification . Mind you the two people ahead of him were white males, and they were not asked for any type of proof or documentation in order to pay for their orders . my husband is Hispanic and bald headed and was treated like a criminal for trying to do the same thing and pay for his order . When he asked to speak to the manager Luis he was told they would not allow him to pay for the food unless he showed them identification. No one else there who had placed an order was asked for proof of identification just my husband.
Out back should be ashamed , 1 - on the 1st occurrence I wouldn’t be calling the establishment back apologizing if I was trying to steal food . I already had the food . How” ghetto” is it to have a manager calling customers names and yelling at them attempting to taunt them saying they can’t afford to eat there then hanging up .
How is he still employed ? When he lacks obvious skill set to deal with the smallest of situations/issues .
4 why are employees allowed to pick and chose who to ask for ID when customers are placing orders .
I honestly feel my husband was discriminated against and it’s a damn shame it’s 2024 and we’re still dealing with this Typeof...
Read moreWe had a great experience dinning here. For starters we were accommodated with reservations for a party of 11. Once we arrived our table was already set. As we sat, we were greeted by our server, Lillie. She quickly took our appetizer order and drink order. Bread was served to our table, and no sooner than she arrived with our drinks our appetizers were being served. She asked if we were ready to place our orders and quickly went around the table taking them, she always made sure that our drinks were never empty and we always had bread. Our food was quickly out hot and everyone order was accurate. My steak was cooked to perfection, and everybody was enjoying their meals. A manager did approach us and asked if we would like the cake that we brought in to be taken to the back to free up table space and kept refrigerated. Once we were done eating, Lillie was quick to ask if we were ready to have our cake and provided us with plates and forks. I did look around and see how every employee was quickly working and taking care of tables and keeping guests happy. After visiting different Outbacks in the area, this one is definitely going to be our go to from now on. The service was amazing. The restaurant was nice and clean and the lighting in there was great. I could actually see my guests. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful and made our dinning experience pleasant. Definitely this location is our go to...
Read moreMe and my boyfriend when out to eat there last night for valentines. We had got there and there was two workers that looked young one with blonde hair and they had asked us for our number and name and said it was gonna be 40 min to an hour wait. They were giggling and i thought nothing of it. So we went shopping meanwhile. After an hour we went back cause we haven’t received a text and it was 9pm already the same boys asked for our name and number again and said that supposedly we had 13 min left to be seated so we waited again, 30 min passed and we went back the two young workers were leaving and twi new ones came in one with a red shirt guessing he’s the manager so my bf went and asked him again how much longer before we’re seated he asked for out name and said we weren’t on the list. So ny bf gave him our number and again he said nothing popped up or if we put it under a different name. We said no and he asked what time did we get there. We were waiting over an hour and he felt bad and asked who helped us but they had left. He was nice and let us sit and the rest of the workers were nice. But it’s ridiculous that they have workers who are messing around and not putting people down on the list and have us waiting over an hour and they’re just there giggling about it. Who knows how many other couples they...
