Corner Bakery Cafe — Restaurant in Lakewood

Accidentally placed my order and called the same minute, hadn't even received a confirmation email, asked for order to be cancelled. And was told it has already been made it wasn't like I was hold or anything!! someone immediately answered I was then placed on hold twice by the 2nnd hold they had me on so long that it rung back where they same female employee answered and when I repeated my concerns about cancelling the now 7 minute old order, she got this attitude saying and I quote " oh yeah, we're gonna cancel it" I thanked her and asked if I would get a confirmation of cancellation she told me it should take 2-3 business days which is a lie if a transaction is voided within the first 30min it shouldn't take more than a day which I let her know, this is where she got an attitude and responded and I quote "well if you already know why'd...and sarcastically laughed" I shrugged it off and asked for her name which took me 3 times of me asking for her to give it too me, gave her my phone # and then proceeded to ask for the managers name, I apparently didn't hear the first time since when I asked again she got an attitude and responded"I already did." I don't know if anyone from corner bakery in Lakewood will read this but definitely need to teach your employees proper...

Service was good. I ordered the all American scrambler with potatoes and everything tasted good.. I am lactose intolerant so I of course made sure that it didnt come with cheese on top (it didnt) so I figured I was good to go... a while later I'm trying to figure out why my stomach is hurting so I went online to check the nutritional info (that is not placed anywhere on the menu boards) and come to find out that there's still an allergen warning that it contains milk.. I didnt even eat the toast so the only conclusion I can come up with is that they add milk to their eggs to make them fluffy.. I would've liked to know that before ordering because I wouldn't have gotten that had I known.. I dont eat dairy at all (one of the few who actually dont torture myself and eat it anyways) so this...

It's been a while since I've been to this place I typically only come here for breakfast. Overtime they have changed the way they do business they no longer use actual silverware or plates for inside eating everything is plastic thrown into the landfill even if you eat on site. Also they no longer bring food to your table you now get a buzzer you take to the table and you have to go up and pick it up obviously all these changes are due to the fact that the pandemic has caused hiring to go into a tailspin even though everybody's making $17 an hour or more to work in these places.
