Poke We — Restaurant in Lakewood

6/10. Place smelled like dead fish in an aquarium. I turn to my left and behold! An aquarium for two small fish, they must feel like they’re in a mansion.

Serving portions were good and taste was alright but don’t get the seaweed if you don’t like the overwhelming taste in most of your bites. The fish seemed decently fresh. I got brown rice, and I don’t think I’m a big fan of mixing hot rice with cold ingredients. Set me back 21 bucks for an average poke bowl.

Service was normal. Treat it more like an expensive takeout, they put everything together nicely and quickly. However, I wouldn’t come back here personally, but hey, I’m sure the smell would make some people ravenous for dorsal...

PokeMe, this particular location, is the best. We are poke lovers, so we know what’s good and not good poke/ sushi. We ordered to-go for dinner. I got large ($16.99) and wife got a small portion ($14.99). Their portions are generous. The fish is fresh, no smells or anything. Their sauces are good. And they really had good customer service. We are fully satisfied. We are from Houston, even then compared to other Houston’s poke, this location is still in the great category. Regret that we didn’t take pictures, it was nicely presented.

Boy I must say this place is absolutely amazing. I lived in Hawaii for many years and of course poke and Sushi me is something that we all eat on a very regular basis. And I've longed for that ever since I came back here to Denver I've tried a few places that were pretty good. But I can honestly say this place is just absolute the best everything was just made perfectly it was incredibly clean in the staff was very friendly and very very knowledgeable.
