Update: Posting an update and adding some photos after another 6 months of going here. This place is amazing. Coach Steven has been a stalwart motivating presence and has formed an incredible 1-2 punch with Coach Caulien that motivates you to keep coming back to see that progress. Plus all the other wonderful coaches are a great change of pace and keep things fun day in and day out. The workout schedule is structured well so you know what your getting each day in terms of strength vs cardio, but week to week there’s still enough variation that it’s fresh and never gets boring. And the results are incredible, whatever level you can commit to, you’re going to see that translate to growth, whether your just looking to get in shape, or if you’re trying to get that 6 pack. After a long pause due to injury, I finally hit my 100 class milestone with these awesome coaches and members of F45 Belmar!

The coaches are all amazing, are mindful that I am still in recovery, and are quick with a modification or check in to see how it’s going with my knee and the exercises. They push me when they know I’m slacking, too, though. Coaches are often alongside members in class in their free time and that is the most motivating presence.

I’ve been in many gym environments in several states and countries with military service, both on base and off and while most gyms boast of an inclusive and diverse environment, this is a gym and staff consistently deliver. There is a good mix of people who are considerate of one another. I can do all the exercises in safety and peace. I have always had a more impactful experience on my fitness goals at F45 than at a box gym or Orange Theory. Having a location in my new community has gotten me out of the workout hiatus and has introduced me to new people in my area. The location is easy to get to, offers free parking, is clean, and has facilities if you need to change when coming/ going straight off to work. The coaches, especially Caulien and Steven who really put the time in for their members; are awesome and give you consistent feedback and support.
