Starbucks — Restaurant in Lakewood

As much as you can ask from a coffee shop, I didnt give em a touchdown for a couple reason Out of the barista's control but in Starbucks control at higher pay grades. First this building is new I want to say around 6mo. It's been completed I can easily be wrong on that. I am making another guess but I feel confident about this k e the building is shaped like a rectangle one long side is 90%to95% glass, one short side is 100%glass, the other big wall is brick with drive e thru and bring too the small back wall. We get all 4seasons in Colorado the windows go from the floor to the ceiling it's beautiful and perfect in What I think the designer was going for. They left the floors with that raw look because they left the ceiling exposed loft style as a matter of fact it's a Downtown Denver looking lowcal in a updating Lakewood suburb, the problem is its cold In There sometimes and I am not a coat person. The A.C. run all summer I do not get cold easy. So the venti coffee that is always perfect dont even warm me up. So that's just one thing once Inside u realize the place is huge the interior designer could have went crazy without even spending much money it does not look like a internet cafe which is what I would shoot for, it doesn't really look like a coffee bistro type cafe.it really does not have a style of it's own. Starbucks may not realize this but it's where ppl wanna meet up with real fast or maybe an hour meeting hear In stead the office. The summer is gonna be nice if the AC rocks, if not get it to go. Love Starbucks, huge fan. After being out of state for a week, hubby and I stopped at this Starbucks on the way home, while sitting inside, we watched two teen girls come inside and steal 3 items from the front cooler by the register. Hubby goes up and tells the barista that he has seen these girls take things. This barista is about 5'5" with dark green and green/teal dyed ends. She tells him that she "Isn't paid enough to care" and walks away. Hubby calls both girls out loudly for stealing - while they are inside the store. They are embarrassed - look at the employees behind the counter then quickly leave. One girl must have felt guilty as she comes back in and puts a stolen bottle back into the cooler, before leaning on the counter and acting familiar with the "Not-Paid enough" employee and gets a water and tells hubby on her way out that she put it back.

If you're not paid enough to care if someone is stealing from your work - take basic economics. Maybe then you'll be able to understand how theft affects your paycheck and the price of what is already expensive coffee for...

Nice and clean. I got stuck here when my phone broke and I needed a spot for Internet so I could figure out a ride home. There was one girl there that was very nice about my situation which I explained since I was hanging around for a while and started feeling like I was loitering a bit. This would have gotten 5 stars except when I got there there was a tall gentleman at the counter that made me feel awkward as he was laughing and cracking a joke that seemed to be an inside joke with the girl taking my order. Couldn't tell if he was laughing at me or it had nothing to do with me but since I was at the counter it I couldn't help but feel he may be targeting me as I was having a tough day all around since my phone broke, so maybe he shouldn't do that, I then asked him for the bathroom code and he told me the code to where I couldn't really hear it so I had to ask again and he seemed a bit off putting when he had to repeat himself.
