So I don't know if there was a misunderstanding or something. I asked for a plate of Bejeing beef. I could not understand a word of what the young woman was trying to ask me behind the counter. To her credit it was very busy in the restaurant and she had a mask on. Not sure if it was a mistranslation or not or that you're now serving single servings for a plate?
She asked if I wanted to "double my beef" and I was like uh no "I just want a plate of bejeing beef please". I didn't even see her put the beef in there because I was moving forward in the line. But I mean a plate of beef equals 2 servings according to the menu.
I think I was only charged like $8.70 or something (it was rounded to $9 because I gave whatever change to charity) and I said to myself "hmmm well that seems low and I'm not going to argue with that!". I'd really hate to be charged extra for an extra portion of rice when I specifically asked for a PLATE which is two servings. I got two servings of rice and one serving of beef. I wish I would have checked before I got home, and that's on me that I didn't kind of put everything together.
Also, I'd probably train your employees to understand a plate is two servings and not ask "do I want to double it" just because I ordered one item and thought she meant if I wanted 4 portions of it and not two. Honestly, panda express seems kind of pushy to buy us as much as possible and give to charity (which I always do give to charity but I don't not like egg rolls so please don't push them or ask me "what else" three times while going through the line). I think now she was probably asking me what other protein I wanted but I was confused and I thought she was just being pushy.
I don't know it was just a big misunderstanding/translation issue on the staff. Still keeping my review at 4 stars because it's good food for it's value and I don't want to hate on someone that may not know English as well and it creates confusion. Just something you may want to train your staff to not ask if they want to "double it" and just simply ask "so you want both servings as Beijing beef?". Completely would have understood her if she put...

With a line of 4, you’d think they would start taking orders from within the restaurant. No. Online orders only.
Line grows to 6. Then 8. Online only.
Why aren’t there enough employees to do both? Great question! Finally the manager comes over and starts to take some orders from us in line. Could not be slower. By this point, they have all the orange chicken to the online orders and told all of us guests inside we had to wait a few minutes for more.
When it was finally my turn, I saw there were a few pieces and I was only getting a small side. Plenty left. She told me no. I gave up at this point and just wanted to pay and leave after waiting for 20 minutes.
Finally I get to check out and realize why the other employee was so terrified of taking orders from the in store folks. She spoke no English. We needed the manager to translate what I ordered to make sure I got my food and got rung up properly. Spoiler alert, I did not get rung up properly. Whatever, I gave up.
Could they have pulled more employees to the line to help earlier? I want to say yes, because there were two standing behind the line chatting on their phones, but my guess is they also aren’t trained to take orders and build a basic bowl.
This was a shame to the franchise that’s already sub par Chinese food. All I wanted was a side of white rice and 2 pieces of orange chicken (I had had an upset stomach for 2 days and was easing into food).
Will never go back to this location even if you paid me. That took years off my life witnessing their...
Read moreWent to eat here after running a few errands mid- week, it was dead as we walked in and got to go right up to the glass to order. The food looked amazing. I did I noticed an older lady standing off to the side, just starting off into space, I saw one guy helping the fellow in front of us and one guy in the back cooking. Everyone seemed busy except for her. Well, it went on about 3 minutes of this guy in front of us being helped until she finally said something in another language at the guy serving and came to ask us "What do you want?" I was pretty taken aback and ask of a sudden our nice lunch out was turning. My boyfriend ordered quickly then my turn and with the same sweet demeanor (sarcasm dripping) she asked what I wanted. I wanted some won- tons as well. We got home and started to eat and about 2 bites in both of our stomachs were making weird noises. Then I tasted a won ton, took a huge mouthful of the stuff ( I love those things) only to discover the cream was changing. All I could taste was sour and I almost booked the in the living room. But I made it to the bathroom. I was flushing the toilet when my boyfriend rushed in, sitting down already as I was rushing out the bathroom door. The food may look appetizing, may even smell that way, but don't let that fool you. Take it from us, the garbage they piled on those Togo Styrofoams were just as sour as...
