Boba Milk Tea-Lancaster — Restaurant in Lancaster

Excellent Taiwanese bubble tea chain with good quality tea made with good quality ingredients (think organic milk, vegan milk, cane sugar, and other natural ingredients). The staff are polite and thoughtful (like most workers in Taiwan and Japan) and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. I've had the Okinawa Milk Tea, Coffee Milk Tea, and Taro Milk Tea so far. All are delicious. Okinawa Milk Tea uses kokuto, a type of Japanese brown sugar that gives it a distinctive flavor. Coffee Milk Tea was a surprise as most bubble shops don't make good coffee but this didn't disappoint. Taro Milk Tea is my favorite--they use real taro and thoroughly blend it into the drink. Add a little creme brulee and set to 25% sugar and you'll have a masterpiece of a drink!

Be aware that they don't use as much sugar as other bubble tea shops, so 50% sweetness will taste more like 20% sweetness. If you're looking for a more "grown up" version of bubble tea that is better for your health without compromising flavor, this is the place to visit. Rartetea is...

Super cute and quiet space. Very much coffee shop vibes but with boba. Games in the corner for people to play while they enjoy their drinks. I can see open mics, live coffee shop music, and game nights happening in the future of this boba spot.

And idk if I just haven’t been to boba in a while, but this is the first boba spot in the AV that has provided a dairy free milk option for the drinks. Why isn’t this just standard at all boba shops already?????

Got the Thai tea boba. Too sweet for my taste, but they provide sweetness, and ice options for their drinks. I’m very sensitive to sugar, so happy that they provide options on sweetness. Will be getting lightly sweetened drinks from here for now on.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! The customer service is always amazing. The sweetest people work there, especially Vannak. I can not express this enough that their matcha latte is the absolute best and my all-time favorite. It's so so so good, add some boba, and you have such a refreshing drink. The boba itself is always chewy and soft, perfectly sweet. The milk tea is never bitter, not overly sweet. I've tried many things the oolong is great, Earl grey is another favorite of mine. Try the thai tea its popular for a reason! I would definitely recommend this place. By far the best boba milktea in the av. They also have a lot of great toppings and regular teas if you dont want milktea. They do have a rewards program, so ask about that...
