The experience was very unpleasant. My family and I would always go there, but after tonight’s experience, not anymore. As nice as out server was, he seemed very forgetful and distracted. It took a great while to be attended. I understand that it may have been busy, but the wait was excessive. After ordering drinks and having them brought, we asked the person who brought the drinks for straws and he never brought them. After asking our server, he finally brought some. The same person who delivered the drinks came back to bring the food and rudely just dropped the plates on to the table and tried rushing off, but I had to ask him for ranch dressing for my child’s salad (didn’t bring the dressing) and he very rudely said “You have to request it with your server and walked off.” I was caught off guard to be honest. I didn’t expect for him to be so bothered by it. At this point, flagging down anyone was a wasted effort so I had to walk up to near the kitchen to ask my server for some ranch dressing. He was very apologetic and brought the dressing. My wife asked to speak to the supervisor who came to our table to apologize and would get her general manager and proceeded to tell us that she has “had problems with him before, but no one believes her, so it would help if we told the general manager.” She offered a discount, but that’s not what we want. We just wanted the issue addressed. The general manager then came out, again to apologize and discount our bill and again we did not want that, but still proceeded to anyways and still offer us coupons. We TRIED to finish our meal, but at that point, the young man who brought our food out would constantly walk by and try to stare down my family and I. Not only him, but other staff members as well - even the security guard. No longer will we be eating there again. Instead of feeling welcomed - we felt singled out and looked down upon. Not a pleasant...
Read moreI’ve been eating at this particular restaurant for at least the past 15 years. The only Chili’s in Lancaster it could get busy at times. I’m understanding of this. I also feel they should hire more help. My family went for lunch today after church service. It was busy as usually. I seen two families leave because of the wait. We order two 2 for $25 the hostess was so busy she forgot to ask us what we wanted for a dessert. We politely put in our request for desserts and stated we wanted to eat them there. While waiting we asked for to go boxes for our entrées. They brought out our desserts in to go containers which would’ve been fine but they were cold. When my daughter started eating it she says “mom this is cold” (chocolate chip cookie) when we tell the hostess she says “oh you ask for to go boxes so I assume you were ready to get out of here?” Even though I specifically said we would like to have our desserts here. It was 115 today we wanted to eat them right there while the car cool off. Bottom line she was overwhelmed and overworked and was rushing us out because they had a large party coming in and she was the only hostess. Seems like management is saving money by not hiring more help. Get more hostess please. I want to blame that the service wasn’t great due to this. To be honest I wouldn’t recommend anyone to eat here. I would rather go across the street to Applebee’s. This isn’t the first time I’ve ate here. I’ve witnessed this for the past few years. The place isn’t equipped with enough workers/hostess. The icing on the cake they did not remake our desserts they simply reheated them making them over cooked kind of burnt. I felt as if that was inconsiderate and...
Read moreWell I decided to take my children out for dinner that evening. First off it started off with a little bit of a wait but hey it happens. We finally got sited wait and waited for our server no one came after sitting there for about 15 minutes so we seen a an employee walking by so she was nice enough to help us out got are drink. Still at this moment we still didn't know who are server was the young lady assist is again taking our oder didn't complaint people who came in after us was getting there meals. Finally after over an hour some else actually brought our food to us. So been as much we eat at restaurant I try to give people opportunity to work things out. Well my children order there desert and another server delivery didn't let my daughter know that the little skillet hot so my daughter burned her hand then I ask for the manager after my daughter had to ask them for some ice. The manager came over brought some burn cream to help. So, I proceed to ask her that I was confused on who my actual server was she say here we work together and that didn't matter. That really comment bother me like my money doesn't mean nothing and I have when people act like you never been in a restaurant before and feel you have to expect BS and felt like it may have had to with my shade of color. But, I visit more than the average person do when comes to eat at restaurant for over 30 plus years. To the point even with bar service I am going to leave a tip because this is how these server make their money to pay their bills. I just feel don't judge a book by the cover turn...
