I have been a loyal customer of Thai Café for many years and have always appreciated their food and service. Unfortunately, my recent experience with a catering order of nearly $300 was extremely disappointing. I ordered two small trays of crab and chicken fried rice, along with other entrées, for a small gathering of friends. When we sat down to eat around 9 p.m., we found that both trays of fried rice were stale, sticky, and had an unpleasant odor, making them completely inedible. Since it was too late to address the issue that evening, we set the trays aside and ate only the other dishes provided. The following day, I contacted the restaurant to request a refund for the two trays we could not eat, as well as compensation for the inconvenience and the embarrassment caused at my gathering. Unfortunately, the manager was not helpful and instead blamed me for picking up the order an hour later than planned. While I understand that timing can affect freshness, food should never have been provided in such a spoiled condition. Even if I had picked up the order at the original time, we would still have eaten the food at the same hour, so the delay in pickup does not explain the state of the dishes This experience has made me question the quality of customer service I previously believed I was receiving. It now seems that the positive treatment may have been because I was a regular customer, rather than a true commitment to good service. The moment an issue arose, the restaurant failed to take accountability, which was deeply disappointing. In my opinion, Thai Café can still be a reasonable option for dining in or small take-out orders, especially given the limited choices in the AV. However, I would strongly caution anyone considering large catering orders, as the restaurant appears to lack both the expertise to handle them properly and the professionalism to take accountability when issues arise.” Adding a picture of the food beforee...

Read moreI've been going to this restaurant for 15 years. This used to be a nice restaurant with fair pricing. But it has gradually gone down hill. The prices are up sharply and the service is very poor. The owner only keeps one girl to serve the customers and handle the cashier so as result the service is terrible now. They frequently are out of certain foods so many dishes are not available. The final straw was a rude and immature waitress who left me sitting at my table for 15 minutes without a menu. When I asked for one she lost it and was very inconsiderate, rude and unprofessional. I immediately left and will never go back. Also some other patrons questioned the meat and weather it was being supplemented with meats you would not want to eat. I don't know if this is true but I know many asian restaurant to use these meats. I would recommend Saladtip which is another Thai restaurant close by. Its much better food, service...
