Tom's Burgers 26 — Restaurant in Lancaster

Well the food was good but it needs improvement on the servers and employees as I sat down to have my burrito chorizo burrito and egg they were dirty plates on the table when I started eating and as I was done eating and left the female staffed that we're cleaning tables kept passing me by and the floor was dirty what I didn't like if they used a broom that stirs up dust into your food they should use a Swiffer mop no dust that's would be a better way to sweep the floor and another thing I didn't like the female servers that were tattooed up they should cover those up cuz there are people who don't like to see those especially me think about it it's not very professional gang members people in prison I'll wear them do you want to look like them really Hitler tattoo the Jews for a reason to degrade them and humiliate them so why would you want to wear them especially the restaurant I don't want to See them cover up your advertisement nobody wants to see that you're giving young kids to go there a bad idea you're not setting an example you're setting a really bad example to look like prisoners in prison and gang members you don't want to set that kind of example to children who eat there very unprofessional girls who are them there start learning how to clean up tables when people are eating their clean up the old plates that are sitting there that was pretty disgusting poor workmanship no etiquette a proper etiquette or manners on how to serve people need to send these employees to school at edicate school restaurant training I guess the manager and the owner didn't train these people you can't just run a business and leave dirty dishes on the table while somebody has to sit there and eat his meal and a dirty dishes just stay there while the person is eating their meal well staff members just walked by continuously they did give me two cups of coffee you think they would have picked it up and took it away but they didn't I just can't...

Those who know me realize that I am quick to give a compliment and I have written the praises of businesses that have gone above and beyond. Sadly, today I have a complaint to air. I went to Tom's on Ave J in Lancaster today to enjoy a breakfast with my son before school. First in the door I was not greeted and when finally served was not done so with any type of friendliness. We got our food and I really didn't like mine but no big deal. Derek got a burrito and when he cut it in half there was a 3-4 inch straight hair in it. Needless to say we both lost our appetite after only having had a couple of bites. I took the burrito to the counter to show the staff and was told by the rude cook that was my hair. Really? I said I wasn't even the one eating this and it is imbedded in the burrito. Now I was really not happy. I said my appetite was ruined and I wanted my money back for both meals and I would pay for the oj. He refused and said he would give me credit. I said I didn't want credit because I would not be back, just reimburse me. He continued to argue. I went here again day before and my server was Desiree. This review is exclusively for the beautiful polite and delightfully efficient Desiree. She was handling all the orders since they were short staffed and Desiree had to do work of many all by herself. And boy she handled it like a pro! I got everything I ordered . I had made many changes, but she made sure I was not disappointed and I wasn't! Everything was right even though they were short staffed. Tasty meal from a super efficient Desiree! My two thumbs way up for her and Tom's. One quick tip friends , all though they have bunch of stuff on their menu, I believe it's the dinner choices which offer best value n loads of food. Yup huge portions

I went there for late lunch/ early dinner -- around 3.45 pm. few people were dining in the neat n clean restaurant. I wanted chicken strips ( which is not on menu) instead of fried chicken dinner which is on menu . But unfortunately the staff denied politely. So I stelled for the freid option.
