Stober's Bar — Restaurant in Lansing

I recently visited a dive bar with live music, a low key atmosphere, and cheap drinks, and although the live music was mediocre, it was still charming. The low key atmosphere made for a relaxed and enjoyable evening, and the cheap drinks were a major plus - it was great to be able to enjoy a night out without breaking the bank.

Despite the mediocre live music, the overall atmosphere at the dive bar was welcoming and inclusive. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I felt right at home from the moment I walked through the door.

Let me just start by saying that Stobers has always felt like home to me, being a life long resident of Lansing and the surrounding area for 35 years, it has a special place in my heart and I’ve gained many memories here over the years. On that note, I cannot continue to patronize this establishment. The last 2 occasions friends and I have come in we have been treated by the Bartender on shift Kristen awfully. She has been rude, aggressive, belittling, condescending, vulgar, and downright abusive to not only myself, my group of friends, but other customers at the bar. They make the the greatest cocktail. I love the atmosphere. I like two of the bartenders Dana, Patrick and especially #1 Dana. this bar makes u won't to come back even if there other people that don't know anything about customer service you just have to give your service to someone else on the nights that this 1 Pacific bartender work and his name is John he have no manners and he not a people person... But other then that if your not a drinker you will always still have fun. To me it just like cheers experience not everybody know your name haha. But they do make you feel welcome other than that...
