Milotino Bakery — Restaurant in Lantana

This week I wanted to support the small business myself even though it’s a half hour drive out for me. I went two nights in a row. The first night I got there at 8:40 PM closed, lights off. I said ok, no problem I’m also a small business owner and emergencies or mistakes happen, I accepted it as my own fault. I even second guessed my memory and said I must have mistaken the hours listed online. Nope, hours on Instagram, Google, and Facebook were all until 9 PM. The next day I decide let’s give it another shot- got there at 8:20 PM. I had double and triple checked the business hours online and social media to right before heading out the door to see if there was any last minute early closing. When I arrived, CLOSED EARLY AGAIN. I messaged the business number to ask if they had new hours, and they said sorry for the inconvenience actually we have new hours and close at 8 pm, I’ll now update the hours. And that was that. A friend had brought me some treats from here last month as a treat when I was recovering from a surgery. Chocolate chip, cookies and cream cookies, a cake pot. They were delicious. So I do recommend the treats and for that they get 2 stars. But how can I recommend patronizing a business that acknowledges their mistake but does not offer a way to make it better? Not a, here’s a discount or an offer for your next visit, we hope you will give us another shot. That would have been real customer service and I would have given them another shot and probably recommended them to everyone. I found this place on the Nextdoor app. Someone recommended their cookies. I decided to give it a try, I LOVED IT! I had the Roma sandwich and my partner had the BLT, the combination of flavors in my sandwich was out of this world, my partner loved the BLT. We also bought 4 cookies, gave one to my daughter and she couldn’t believe how delicious this Nutella cookie was. We are planning on going back tomorrow because I am definitely trying my Bacon, egg and cheese on the croissant. I also want to try their croissant cookie. I cannot say enough good things about this bakery and restaurant! Family-owned, run and always always friendly and warm! I was having problems with my stomach and my blood sugar. All I do is call Michelle and she makes a special dinner for me that I can have! The food is absolutely delicious in the deserts are bar none! I wish I could give Michelle and her family more than five stars I would...
