Victoria's A La Brasa (Rotisserie chicken) — Restaurant in Lantana

If you been to Victoria's...4 doors down, and like it then you will like this place too. My initial thought was that they wanted to have a fast-food-like rotisserie chicken take out/eat-inn place different than the more restaurant style place. However, I guess the actual concept is to offer an overflow to the restaurant and for those with maybe a bunch of kids who want to have a more casual experience. The menu is almost the same. You can sit down and have a waiter or order at the counter and take it out. There is seating outside too. The food is the same at both places. They have rotisserie chicken here that the restaurant doesnt. Other than that, this place has an abbreviated menu of the restaurant. You can get some sauteed dishes and ceviche, but just less choice. They have the choclo (Peruvian corn) to snack on too. They gave me three sauces. The green was tasty, but not my cup of tea. The yellow was the best tasting but didnt have the "bite" I wanted. The last had a good bite but it wasn't very good tasting. I got a 1/4 chicken white meat with red beans and yellow rice. The chicken was fantastic. The beans had a taste I was not familiar with. My first time recommended by a friend. Worst experience ever first time and of course last. When we got there there were no tables available. So we stand by the entrance waiting for a table, the three waiters pass by us many times. Not even a hi, no ackowledgement, neither a smile, very unfriendly. Well I told one of them I will seat outside to wait for an available table. I asked him for the menu because he never brough it. Once a table became available went inside, food took forever. I asked for a side of rice that took them an additional 15 minutes. I refuse to take it cause at this point I was discourage and very dissapointed. We normally order to pick up every weekend and is good, but today we like to go to celebrate our independe there and when we went is was no so busy after that all the people came and we order appetizer because we was hungry and part of that was ok but after that they don t came anymore and we spend 2 hours waiting for nothing because they have a really bad customer service, but people rude because they wanna charge us for food that we doesn t receive it and more of that they dob t have any gently in the people who is waiting for food outside and when we know is summer and is hot outside and we have 2 infants.
