Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Lapeer

Very good. Person in front of me must've ordered the whole menu in the drive through though because they took forever getting through but the workers were very gracious about it and came to my car to grab my card to pay so it would go faster and they had my order ready as soon as I got to the window. But to those people who think a restaurant's drive thru is for taking your sweet time, it's not. Go in (the places you can) or choose a stall (here). Everyone behind you hates you and while no worker will ever be rude to you, as someone who worked drive thru years ago, trust me you're not making any friends inside either when you hold up a line and make everyone else wait like 20 minutes because you don't know what you want (or you want to order like catering level amounts of food in the drive through) and you're clearly too lazy to go in. Don't be an inconsiderate drive thru customer!

Literally every business with a drive thru these days has an app to pre-order your food or at the very least to show you the menu so you can know what the heck you want to make sure you're ready to order when you get there. Use it! There is no excuse for taking 8 years in...

Paid over $10 dollors for six boneless BBQ wings, six Mozzarella Stick and a small drink. The bonless wings were horrible, one was as small as a nickel another one didnt have any breading so when they deep fried it, it turned into dried chicken jerky. (Im not sure why anyone would think that would be okay to serve). The wings were only partly covered in bbq sauce and had a very thick breading. The drink was completely full of ice so it only contained about a half cup of liquid witch made it extremely hard to was down the dry hard wings. I had to ask for a dipping sauce for the mozzarella sticks it wasnt offered. They were OK not by any means the best ive had. For the price there are far better options for fast food in this towm that wont break the bank and leave you waiting for 10 minutes for them too serve you very unsatisfactory food. P.s. dont count on them giving you more than one napkin for your bbq food.

I came here because I wanted to brag about the service at this particular store. I have been here twice, once in the evening and yesterday for lunch. Both times I have been here I went through the drive through. It is always fast and my onion rings are fresh and hottttt just the way I love them. However, what stands out to me the most is the service that I receive when I go to this Sonic. There young men taking my order have always been polite and with a smile. Kudos to the hiring staff, manager and owner at this Sonic for making the best decisions when it come to the staff. I made a facebook post the first time but since the amazing service seems to be the norm here I wanted to do the Google Review. (The gentleman, name starts with an M I forgot his name lol who was working on 7/1/24 at the drive thru window at lunch time needs a raise, he made sure I did not leave Sonic 2nd guessing my return) Thanks, from the coke...
