Wendy's — Restaurant in Laredo

Upon arrival and placing my order at the drive thru window, it took approximately 25 minutes to get to the window and pay for my food. Please keep in mind that there were only three vehicles in front of me. When I got to the window, instead of being greeted with an apology for the long wait time, I get this unpleasant person by the name of Ricardo ask, "You are the one that cancelled the salad correct?" I looked at him in disbelief and answered No. He then proceeded to ask, with the manager Deya or Della behind him, "Well what was your order?" I proceeded to repeat my order and ask him when giving him my money, Does it normally take this long? He then proceeded to tell me that "it's because we are having trouble with the system!" I was in disbelief that the manager never once addressed me to apologize for the wait. If there are issues, please advise the customers ahead of time when ordering that it may take longer than usual, and that you appreciate their understanding...The staff at this Wendy's location needs more training and the manager needs to step up to the role that...

I eat here occasionally with friends, and this location doesn't disappoint.

We eat here typically during the late service hours, so it's never crowded when my friends and I come.

They play country music here at this Wendy's, and I don't know if they do that at all the Wendy's location, since I don't go normally go to any other Wendy's. If country music isn't you're thing, then at least you'll enjoy your meal.

The food is pretty good, but I'd highly recommend the chicken sandwich, I'm not a chicken person, but it tastes great here.

The tables and floors are usually clean, and it's rare if they're very messy. The bathrooms are also very tidy, and it smells nice. It doesn't smell like urine or like it's just been doused in bleach. Both of which I feel ruins my appetite.

This Wendy's never has anything and their staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. One time I ordered a salad and the woman at the window greeted me by screaming "No pecans, only croutons!" Zero people skills. Another time I ordered through their mobile app and arrived to the restaurant to find our that over half of my order couldn't be fulfilled and they would not be able to give me a refund and asked me to call the app customer service. I spent over an hour on hold and was eventually told to contact the restaurant again to get a refund. In the end the GM and owner emailed me and had me go back to the restaurant days later to give me a refund with no compensation for my wasted time or the inconvenience.
