814/23 Since my original review I've tried this location again multiple times due to its convenient location to work, and for awhile the inside counter provided courteous, fast, correct order service. The last two weeks, not so much. Slow to get my food, online orders were being filled before taking in person. Today I went through the drive through and my bag was tossed at me and had no straw for my drink, and my drink cup was about 2/3rds full and when I asked for more soda to be added, I got attitude. I also had to ask for ketchup for my fries. So, for the prices you pay here, go somewhere else like across the street to Raising Canes or The Habit.
Go somewhere else!
Over the course of several dine in visits I've noticed that the online orders take precedence over walk in customers. I've stayed away for months because of this, but thought I'd give this location another try today. The old woman running the counter didn't greet me with a hello, or welcome to Wendy's, or I'll be with you in a minute. Instead, very rudely, she told me that I'd have to wait before she took my order. I could tell she was going to take awhile so I walked out.
The last time I was here more than two months ago, another front counter person didn't take orders for the person ahead of me or myself so that she could get her online orders straightened out. By the time my order was placed, there were 4 or 5 more people in line behind me.
That visit, as I was leaving the restaurant I heard the counter person tell her only customer in line that she'd have to wait to place an order "because I need to get this online one done." The customer then asked if it would be faster to go through the drive through, and the counter person said "yes."
Hospitality 101 - take care of your in store customers first, and don't shoo them out the door - potential sales will be lost. I will never come back to...
Read moreWorst wendys on the planet, management should be fired. I've taken issue with Wendy's for several years. From their change from dill pickles to their nasty sweet pickles, serving hard white unripened tomatoes, if they even have tomatoes and half the time they dont... the change of what were the worst fries in the game to even worse fries... shrinkage of the meat on their sandwiches to where you are paying more but getting way less. The change from a good chunk of iceberg lettuce to literally the most tiny and completely cooked hot peice of romaine lettuce that actually hinders the sandwich instead of enhancing it. They don't even have a human take your order anymore, it's AI! Today was the end of the line for me and I will never eat wendys again. I ordered the Asiago chicken sandwich. Tiny cooked/hot peice of lettuce as usual. Barely any dressing, you couldn't even taste it. Hard as a rock unripened tomato. But the chicken nearly made me throw up. It was CRUNCHY. Not the breading, the meat was crunchy. I thought it was raw, it was so hard and crunchy. But it was cooked. I took another bite and had to spit it out and I doubt I even eat dinner tonight because I am so grossed out by the lunch wendys served me. It was nothing but ligaments and gristle. No a actual meat. I feel like I'm going to puke right now. I will never give wendys another penny. The taco bell right down the street is best, go there. It's always hot and fresh and lots of filling and they give you tons of sauce and napkins. The manager of this wendys needs to do an apprenticeship at the taco bell. The taco bell knows what...
Read moreI've sincerely never done a review before and I'm a Regular at this location, usually late at night when it's 1:30 or 1:40 am and typically the Staff are very accommodating, sweet, and patient. Tonight was a complete 180 turn from that when I was in the drive through – the guy at the window, while usually very friendly and patient, literally gave the most expressionless glare at me and said nothing when handing me what I ordered. I don't know if something had happened prior to me coming to the drive through but it felt taken out on me and I had already had a rough night Hosting at Applebee's and was hoping for a pleasant experience coming to this Wendy's location as I've gotten used to receiving on account of all the other times I'd visited and was greeted enthusiastically and kindly. I'm not asking that any employees be fired or reprimanded, but please at least have a conversation about keeping up the friendly customer service when people come to this establishment to enjoy the food and spend their money. After the experience I'd received it makes me apprehensive about returning to spend my money if I'm only going to receive the same deadpan unwelcoming experience as if the employee didn't want me there to begin with. Customers come here to put money into the business and would enjoy a pleasant smile at the very least. I understand shifts can become rough and stressful, but the clientele don't deserve it taken out on them if they were not...
