The food tasted decent which is the only reason they got 1 star. I placed an order online and when I arrived, they did not have my food because my order was marked complete. A very nice, very helpful cashier was able to find it and the kitchen re-made the order. All of that was fine and I did not.lind the wait... until I got home and discovered that they did not give me the cookies or sides for the kids meals. In addition, one of the spuds we ordered had no butter or sour cream and my half salad and sandwich were pitiful.
When I drove back across town to get the.sides.and complain about my measly sandwich, the manager did not apologize, told me my sandwich with 2 pieces of meat is what you get when you order the choose 2, and told me he could get me the missing sides. It was said as though he was doing me a favor and I should be grateful. I said yes, because I paid for them. I was not rude or disrespectful even though (at this point) I was pissed.
When he brought the small sides, the manager informed me that he filled the cups "all the way up" and he did not want me to expect that next time I came in because usually they only fill them 1/2 way for the kids meals. So they fill a 2" tall container 1" full, give you a cookie that is less than 1/2 the size it used to be; and charge you $11 for it. And the manager is rude. Oh, and when I told him we wouldn't be back, he said, "that's fine."
What happened to my favorite sandwich shop? @McAllisters, I'll be finding somewhere new to eat. Please let me know when you have a manager who is willing to treat good customers decent and when your meals are worth the $60 my family...
Read moreThis place used to be awesome...it just continues to get worse and worse though. The sandwiches are just thrown in a box and when you get it, you have to put your sandwich back together. I usually get the choose 2 meals. The baked potatoes are super dry. I got the roast beef spud. It's supposed to come with au jus. It didn't and I couldn't even eat it because it was so dry. I also got the savannah chopped salad. It's supposed to come with chicken. Nope. One time they forgot to put the chicken on the salad. The lettuce is often brown and wilted, or big chunks of white lettuce. They also put very little gorgonzola. I also order and pay for extra dressing because they never give you enough. They always forget to include the extra dressing that I have payed fo and often times have to fight with whoever is there just to get my dressing. To drink I ordered a strawberry sweet tea. It was just a regular tea. The customer service is awful. They allow children to throw food all over the restaurant and climb on the tables and chairs. It's really disgusting. And the food is expensive. The price does not match the quality. So if you like noisy environments, bad customer service, and overpriced food...this...
Read moreMister mumbles, the cashier greeted my sister and I as we approached the counter to make our order... I tried to order the lasagna soup but was quickly informed that they do not have that.... even though there was a big picture of it on the large menu behind him. I pointed out the advertisement behind him, and he then clarified that they were out of that soup because they had order issues. I then ordered a choose 2 chicken tortilla soup and a lightly toasted grilled cheese sandwich and water to drink. My water had the hint of hose water that I used to drink from the hose that stretched across my childhood lawn on a hot summer day. The so-called tortilla soup did not have any tortilla in it but did come with a consolation prize of crispy corn chips on the side. My lightly toasted grilled cheese sandwich was actually a toasted turkey, tomato, and cheese sandwich... not exactly what I wanted but tasted good nonetheless... I completely understand the struggles of finding competent and reliable workers, but the combination of incompetence and high prices combined wins Mc Alisters my...
