Whataburger — Restaurant in Las Cruces

Update: I don't know what happened in a year to make this place so horrible, but I am very disappointed! The kid I had to deal with has absolutely no customer service skills. We placed an online order, went to the designated pick up spot to pick it up. First off all trying to order online didn't work, you have to order on your phone. I didn't place the orymy husband did and I went to pick it up and got scolded because I wasn't the one that placed the order and I didn't check in on the app. He literally told me next time they will just leave me sitting there. I finally got our food and everything was cold and gross. The ice was melted in our drinks. The chicken looked like the bottom of the bag crumbs that they had left over from yesterday and stuck in a microwave. It was so rubbery, dried out, and gross. We ordered extra gravy, good thing too because they only fill the cups 1/2 full. We ordered sauce, didn't get any. No ketchup, no salt, no napkins. Ordered and paid for extras for our burger, didn't get them. We called to let them know how awful everything turned out and that we paid for stuff that we didn't receive. They just said when it's convenient for use they will give us a free burger. Yeah, no thanks. We won't be eating here again. Just another typical trash restaurant in Las Cruces with horrible customer service.

It was wonderful to go inside and eat and see other humans acting "normal." People sitting and enjoying their meals. The food was very good and fresh. I got the #13 chicken strip meal with cream gravy. It was very delicious. I was not disappointed at all! I also tried their white chocolate raspberry shake...very good! Employees came by to check in us, offered us condiments, napkins, and straws. Picked up our trash and asked if everything was good or if we needed anything. Fantastic customer service! Beats the heck out of Sonic...

this is the first time I am doing this but I'm giving my review a title and I am naming it ......."Dennet"..... So where I come from they don't have any Whataburgers I went to my very first one 5 years ago I've had the ability to travel all over New Mexico and Texas and last 5 years and fortunate enough to go to many many whataburgers my only 2 problems with Whataburger it's extremely long lines especially through the drive-thru and the really long waits then you've got the problem of the employees they are truly just blase they have not impressed me not one of them has until yesterday and that lady named Dennet H when I went to the drive-thru on Telshor boulevard you will never wait and if you do it won't be long I promise you that but yesterday I met Dennet she waited on me through the drive-thru within 10 words you knew this woman loved her job and loved people this lady made you feel like you were happy to talk to her and happy to be at Whataburger even happy to wait for anything if you had to she went above and beyond! Just fabulous spot on as cashier and as an employee I think that Dennet should be training all your cashiers because she is first in 5 years to impress me of any employees in any whataburgers and two states in 5 years and hundreds of trips a year to Whataburger thank you lady for putting my faith back in the employees of Whataburger once again every employee should have your love for work and love the people...

Go to any other Whataburger, ordered a burger last month & got 1 with metal/plastic bread twists that seal the buns, wrote a comment in the app(requested no contact) bc I don't want free stuff just wanted them to be more careful & know it happened. Next time I came in manager came & apologized & insisted I get a free meal on them just tell them my name for a free meal. 1+ month later i come in last night trying to use it & the 16 y/o girl thinks I'm lying trying to get free food or something telling me my name isn't on the list. When I tell her what happened & the short female manager told me I was brushed away she started helping other customers ignoring me not even asking manager on shift about it further when I've seen same girl give a guy $30 worth of meals when his name wasn't on a list, he has no receipt, & was ridiculously rude & still got free stuff over an order he ate 2-3 weeks ago that wasn't supposed to have tomatoes but he still ate it & gets another free 2 meals while I was told by a manager come in & get turned down for a measly $10 meal in front of the whole restaurant, horrible location, homeless ppl in & out nonstop using the fountains for free w/dirty cups & bottles, passing out on tables, halfway overdosing when there's a family & kids right next to them & NONE OF THE STAFF EVER SAY ANYTHING.
