Picture Frame Factory Outlet — Attraction in Las Cruces

My husband and I just moved to Las Cruces from Pennsylvania and during the move came across an art project our son did in 7th grade (he is 23 now). Not only is it unique, but the colors are very southwestern, and we thought it would be something cool to have framed and displayed in our new home. After some searching, we happened upon Picture Frame Factory Outlet and stopped in to speak with Greg about it. It took about 5 minutes to settle on the matting and frame, and he talked to us about an option for also incorporating the template that was used to create the piece. Greg was as excited about the artwork as we were, and it’s an understatement to say that we are thrilled with the outcome! This piece is now a focal point in our home, and when we sent a photo of it to our son, he was touched that we had kept it, and thrilled with what we did with it and how it is displayed. I went with a bunch of prints with odd dimensions and a large photograph I wanted to frame. Being a young person and never doing that before, I severely underestimated the cost of custom frames. I spoke to an older gentleman working there and he was extremely understanding and kind. I knew I wanted to frame my photograph, so we worked out a simple frame that complimented the photograph, and he trimmed and pressed all my prints to common dimensions so that I could fit them in cheaper frames from hobby lobby. He ended up only charging me for the frame, even gave me a student discount, and did not charge me for the trimming and pressing of the prints. I’ve gone back a few times since to have my prints trimmed and pressed, even asking him to charge me, but he insisted that he do it for me for free. I have gotten quite a few projects framed at PFFO and Greg and Jenna have always been extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly when selecting glass, frames, or matting and they do a beautiful job once it’s all picked out. I came in with a century-old tapestry to be framed, and Greg went so far as to hand-stitch it to the matting so it won’t wrinkle over time. On smaller projects, like the magazine article, they took just as much care - the pages are lined up so perfectly it’s seamless.
