My daughter and I visited the Chinese buffet on July 17, 2025, for a daddy-daughter date. While the food was good, it was often too cool to eat comfortably by the time I grabbed a plate and sat down. I politely informed the waitress, who said she'd notify a manager. However, instead of a manager approaching me, I was brought my check, which I took as a sign they wanted me to leave. When I asked to speak with a manager while paying, the cashier handled the situation. I explained my concern about the food temperature, but she seemed defensive, mentioning that other customers had complimented the food. I clarified that I hadn't spoken to anyone else, and she offered to check the temperature with a thermometer. However, instead of using a thermometer, she used her mouth to test the temperature of some dishes, which I found unprofessional. The situation escalated, and after I decided to make a complaint, the manager and other employees spoke loudly in their native language, which made me uncomfortable. Given the poor service and food temperature issues, I wouldn't recommend this buffet. The food quality could be improved, and the staff could benefit from better customer service training.

Went here only because it was right next to my hotel. Skeptical of any Asian buffet but especially in Las Cruces. Google 3.9 is generous. Huge restaurant with more employees than customers. Writing this hoping I don't get sick, most of food was barely warm. Pot Stickers, tasted ok but cool inside. Egg Rolls mushy and cool inside. Cheese wonton were just meh. Fried chicken was way overcooked and dry. Honey Chicken was chewy and not warm. Sesame Chicken was rubbery and zero sesame flavor. Chicken Broccoli tasted ok but was cold. Hibachi chicken was actually good! Lo Mein was completely bland and flavorless. Hot and Sour Soup was good. Wasn't brave enough to try sushi or any of the seafood items. Was pretty much what I was expecting, my skepticism was warranted. 22.49 for one person with a drink, definitely not worth it.

So underrated! I read about this place online and the reviews were good. I found the staff very friendly, quiet, but friendly! The gentleman making the sushi is talkative and happy to tell about the items he is making...even talked me into a couple of things I wasn't sure about. The young lady in the eating area never missed picking up, refilling people's drinks...and all with a small, genuine smile! For the price this can't be beat, especially the baked crab and sushi! I couldn't even try everything...so much! I wished this was in my town! Price wise...can't beat it. I could spend $11 at a fast food and still be wanting! I am stuffed!

A friend and I came in during LUNCH time which is around 3 , we had called before asking about their special. We called about 3 times before we got there. We get there and everything is fine til after we get our first plate, as soon as we get back to the table we see that our check was already there. After ONE plate, if you’re going to a buffet you’re obviously going to be eating more than what you paid for. We push that aside and keep eating, at this point we started sharing plates. In the beginning we got one to ourselves, then we decided to share so we wouldn’t waste any food. We had got there around 3:10 which is still the “LUNCH SPECIAL”. My friend and I decided to get a plate of shrimp and oysters to share, we both got up to get a second plate and as soon as we get back to the table our check is GONE. They had TOOK our check once we went to go get seafood. Again, we didn’t think much of it and proceeded to enjoy our meal. Our waiter comes back with a NEW check, we take a look at the check and come to see that they are now charging us for DINNER. Keep in mind we had come DURING the “ LUNCH SPECIAL “ which ENDS at 3:40. We had been there BEFORE that so even when we were supposed to leave they were supposed to charge us the “ LUNCH SPECIAL “ because we got there at 3:10. We call the waiter over and we begin to ask her why she charged us extra, she then proceeded to state that there was a “ sign “ that said once you touch SEAFOOD it isn’t considered LUNCH. We then said we came in DURING LUNCH and she still didn’t agree. She then calls over her manager and the manager begins to say that there is another sign that says the seafood is considered dinner. We then go pay and the sign is nowhere to be found. When she said there was a “ sign “ it was at the bottom of there times and prices, in the SMALLEST WRITING. It literally looked like they added that to the sign as soon as we complained. We still had to pay 15 each for the buffet , and BY THE WAY, they have the worst pho ever. They used the SAME pot for EVERY ORDER. It tasted like hot water with detergent in it, it also GAVE me FOOD POISONING. Don’t get me wrong the food is great but the attitude they have towards customers is...

Honestly, amazed by prior negative reviews, have feeling that this could be paid for/left by competitors...Or the management has changed dramatically last few weeks, because we have experienced GREAT food and little outdated but CLEAN restrooms.

Food selection is amazing, ALOT of seafood as well as meat products, big sushi and salad bar, fruit bar was pretty exciting too.

(They even had crab legs, crabs and crawfish for lunch!)

We were there right when they open (best time to come to Chinese buff) everything was nice, fresh and tasty - no complaints at all, only complements! Lunch price was $11.49+$1.99 for drink, in my opinion it's little pricey for buffet, but considering the variety of food it was OK.

The only NEGATIVE: waitress was lazy and gloomy, here they don't even bring silverware or chopsticks to you, she was just standing there doing nothing and when I asked for chopsticks she just pointed towards sushi bar on another side of the restaurant.... and as prior reviews said they brought fortune cookies BEFORE we finished eating, we didn't really care about it (I suggest you the same) but after she brought them out she completely stopped caring about us and didn't refill the drink until I asked and haven't cleaned 2 dirty plates with crab legs remainders for like 20 minutes, despite place being relatively empty, WELL they expect tips for their hard work, but how much of it they get - is up to you to determine...:)

Overall great food experience, but waitress will starve to death with this attitude and laziness, I wish them the best, they should go to American restaurant to learn the skills, it's not China here, people are willing and wanting to pay for service, so deliver it and you will be compensated, or go wash restrooms with this attitude, toilets won't care if you...

Was here 7/30/16. My family's experience was terrible. We arrived at 8:50 in the evening for their buffet. My husband paid in advance of being seated full price for 2 small children and 2 adults. We had no sooner gotten our plate when they started picking up the buffet. He went to the girl in the front and asked if they were closing. She responded NO, they were just moving some food around. He came back to the table and within 2 minutes the kitchen staff were out in the dining room with soap and buckets and started cleaning the food bar. They were carrying on as if there was no one in the place. He then noticed all the sushi was removed. I went to the front to speak to the girl that he had previously spoken with. She told me they were now closed. I told her I would like a refund that my husband had asked her right after arriving if they were closed and she had told him "No". That this was definitely not an enjoyable experience and we should be refunded our money as we were leaving. At the same time I was there another woman was there demanding a refund as well. She was threatening to call the police to get her money back as well as the sanitation board regarding cleaning things with food still around the area. The up shot of all this was the girl refunded half our ticket to us. I accepted this but did not agree. I truly felt we should have had a full refund. The total time spent in this restaurant...
