What else can be said about this place other than "Wow." We came here after being unfairly treated by a previous favorite restaurant and because it was close to home. We were greated to a wonderful aroma on entry. The place seemed very clean. We ordered our food dining in and they treated us to complimentary doughnuts and extremely pleasant service. We honestly ordered a TON of food (More than usual) and only spent $40 but had so much leftovers that my fiance and I had lunch for the next day. We came again because after our day we were not feeling cooking and we got the same great service, even offered the same doughnuts (which after having the time before I would honestly pay for, so good). The service and portion size were also consistently great. Ive purposely talked about the food last. The food is so damn good. Many Chinese places overcook or undercook vegetables, theirs are always spot on. We always order Teriyaki Chicken, Orange Chicken, Chowmein, and Fried Rice. My fiance and I are foodies and therefore big eaters. We still cannot finish. We have leftovers every time no matter how hungry we are so the value is great. Orange chicken is hit or miss depending on places you go, this place is a definite hit as it is always the right levels of tangy and hint of spice without being over sauced. If you are near one of these restaurants and want Chinese, skip Panda Express. More value, better food, and honestly wonderful staff whether you dine in or pick up. Support...
Read moreThis restaurant is very near our home, so when my husband said he wanted orange chicken for dinner one night recently, he agreed to order here. He was worried about bad press that other locations of this restaurant have gotten. The dining room is cozy and very casual. The vibe is more lunch counter than dine-in, so we ordered our food to go. It is in the name, after all: Go Go. :-)
I ordered potstickers and the eggplant tofu in Szechuan sauce. He ordered the orange chicken he was craving. Neither of us asked for any modifications.
The food was prepared while we waited. I liked that it was not already sitting in pans on display like a buffet but rather was cooked to order.
The potstickers looked appetizing and were tasty. The eggplant tofu was delicious. Not really spicy but had a little heat. The eggplant was tender and savory. The tofu had a nice crisp outside and tender inside.
The portion is generous, so I had enough for dinner that night and leftovers for lunch the next day. Getting two meals for a reasonable price definitely felt like a win for my wallet too.
My husband liked the orange chicken so much that, despite his earlier misgivings, he went back two days later for another order.
We will definitely go back for more. If you are in the northwest part of the city and crave some fast Chinese style food, this location of China A Go Go could satisfy...
Read morei love china a go go and when i saw that there was a location close to home i was so excited! But unfortunately, let down i’ll admit i took a little long to get the food due to life and when i got there they only gave me 1 out of 2 lunch specials and I didn’t notice until i got back home. fine , i called to let them know i was on the way and the reason and after confirming what i said 4x they decided to make the order. When I arrived there were 3 woman standing at the counter, didn’t greet me didn’t apologize for the inconvenience just stared at me like i was the problem and bothering them . i felt very unwanted in their establishment and just for me to get back home and the food is disgusting . literally, the worst chinese food i’ve ever had. After telling a couple people about my experience at THIS location, I can confirm that I will not be returning to...
