Showed up for lunch at 3:45 PM which is served until 4:00 PM and were turned away just because the proprietor had set the table we picked with a white dinner linen cloth early. Plunking the dinner menu down in front of us we said, "we're here for lunch", and he said, "lunch is over now", we showed him our i-phone and the time was 3:50 PM and asked if we could sit on the opposite side of the restaurant where the tables weren't set for dinner and he once again said, "lunch is over now". Lunch is advertised on their menu until 4:00 PM and we have been going to this restaurant for over seven years as regular customers, dining in and takeout. Additionally our Son has been dining there along with ordering numerous takeout orders. I gave this apparent owner, or manager an ultimatum, "either seat us for lunch, or we'll never come back to this restaurant again and you'll lose us and our Son permanently as customers. Well, you guessed it, he didn't so we walked out of this dastardly place for good, Adios Amigo!!! Go elsewhere, the food is average at best anyway, so save your cash, let alone...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA very small restaurant amongst other shops in a strip mall shopping center that had very large portions but were overpriced for what you get. It had a very cozy/romantic feel to the place, so if you're taking your wife or girlfriend out this might be a good spot. If you know your fried rice and orange chicken then don't get them here. Try something other than these two dishes. The orange chicken was a little fatty and didn't have that spicy orange flavoring that I look for when ordering it from table service restaurants. The chicken fried rice lacked the flavor that a good chicken fried rice should have and the rice itself was a longer and more plump rice than it should have been. I prefer a short grain rice in my dishes. Overall due to the poor quality of the food and its flavoring is why I'm giving this cozy little spot a 4 star rating. Some of the other entrees may taste much better and you may like it though so who knows?! I might give this place another shot, but in only in town for the week, so it'll have to be another...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would but zero stars if I could, this is the worst restaurant Iāve ever been to. The service was terrible: they had a very violent movie on, the servers were on their phones playing games, and they never checked up on us (there were only four people in the restaurant). Both soups they offer were very bland and gooey, their egg rolls were hollow, and none of the food looked appetizing. This place is called Chow Mein house, but their Chow Mein was just noodles with old vegetables. The broccoli and beef featured store bought broccoli and beef that felt like chewed gum. As I sit here writing this my stomach feels awful and I want to throw up. If you find this restaurant good then you havenāt eaten real Chinese food. If you want more bang for your buck go to Panda Express or the Red Rock Buffet for chow Mein. Lastly, they couldnāt even get the fortune cookie right as it tasted like...
