Don Tortaco — Restaurant in Las Vegas

Normally DonTor Taco is extremely consistent with the food quality and experience, but this one is not one I would recommend. The inside is bare, almost embarrassingly unfinished looking on the inside. The staff working when I stopped by hardly spoke English which isn't uncommon for authentic Mexican restaurants, but the cashier didn't understand how to ring up an order nor did he understand what menu items we were asking for. One of our orders was for the Tuesday Chicken Taco deal for $1.59 which should be a pretty common order. Despite him asking if we meant the rolled tacos we explained that we wanted the normal chicken tacos for the Tuesday deal. Instead we got rolled tacos with toppings I would have asked to put on the side and when I once again explained the issue he corrected the order with chicken tacos. Unfortunately, these are not even remotely close to the way they should be prepared. These were soft tacos with pan fried chicken, cilantro and onion. A normal chicken taco from Roberto's is more accurate than this was since normally the chicken tacos have shredded chicken, in a deep fried crunchy shell with lettuce, and cheese. It's not a pleasant experience for me today. I ordered the carne asada nachos through the Uber eats app for a pick up. I walked into the store, no one at the register, but I could hear a lady talking on the phone the back of the store. A gentleman walked out and greeted me. I told him that I was picking up an order. Then, right there started to make my order. There is about 6 inches opening between the wall and the juice machine right next to the cashiers window, when I looked,I noticed that there were some steak on the grill next to a white dirty rag, and a large brillo pad. I told the guy who was making the food, and he completely ignored me. I had no choice and took my order home. The steak was very cold, and the cheese was not melted.
