Read moreMy family and I went to Dupar's last night, after watching a movie. We've been wanting to come here for awhile and we thought it was a perfect night to come and dine in. It took some time for someone to see me in line that I was waiting to be seated. I thought Ok maybe there are one one or 2 working as servers. We got seated and it didn't take too long to know what we wanted. We ordered and it took some time for us to receive our food and it wasn't busy. No more than 8 tables including us. My husband ordered the grilled chicken and to his surprise, he got the chicken with some breading. That's not grilled chicken. Our server was explaining that was grilled. I don't know how someone can be a server at a restaurant and not know what "grilled" means. My husband ate it because then we would wait longer for that to be cooked. With this experience he would not want to come back here. The server only gave us 2 napkins and 2 utensils. We were 4. We didn't need more utensils. I thought Ok, I should have asked. I let that pass. What really made us not to EVER come back was I had told someone that we were ready and asked for a box to go. She brought that but the server never returned. I told we were ready after some time. I saw her at the register and thought, "ok, she will bring the check now." Nope. We waited and waited. I stood up, to go to the cash register, since there was a couple who had been waiting for quite some time and no one was going to help them. I don't know what that lady thought we were doing by standing up. Did she think we were going to leave without paying? SMH I told her I was going to stand behind the couple to pay. They were there first. So she made my husband go to a register they have in middle. My sons and I waited at the front. I can't believe it got so late to get out of there. There were 5 different people working there. I don't know what was going on. Why were they so slow. I felt bad for those who showed up after us. Hopefully they didn't get treated like we did. We looked forward to this place. How can we come back after this? First and last time...
Read moreI dined in with my husband a few days ago for some lunch, it was not a very pleasant experience i would say.. i manage a restaurant at the Venetian Resort and i would NEVER allow my employees to specially servers to act very rude and no manners towards guests. Our server never introduced herself and when my husband was ordering he ordered chicken finger and before he could even say that he was gonna order something else, she just reached over and snached his menu until i stopped her to tell her he was not finished ordering all she said was "okay" THEN my husband was able to tell her he wanted french toasts as well, she walked away after. Just very rude and not the service we'd expect. Two Days later i came back with my family for lunch as well to give it a second try BUT we ended up getting the same server.... same type of service. Would walk away before even asking " anything else i can get you ?" its common sense to ask if we are done ordering or if there is anything else we need! i asked if i could get a refil of orange juice she just blank faced said to me "there no refil for orange juice." then i proceeded to say " okay well then just another order of orange juice" and she just walked away. I could go on & on about the whole service but im sure you get these type of reviews for her already, the only way i was able to know her name was through looking at the servers name on the check. Check your employees before hiring, if they dont like their job just dont work there and period! For the record her...
