POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES - DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS PLACE. I'm still in shock over what took place. I'm running an event at the JW Marriott and decided that pizza and salad sound just right after a long hard day. I ordered because the pizza sounded good and they deliver. I ordered a Large pizza $16.99 and a Large salad $5.99. The total was $32. with a $2.50 deliver charge and tax my total should have been $27.28. After the driver left I decided to look up the prices as it didn't sound right. Sure enough I was over charged. I called up and the guy on the phone handed me off to the guy that placed my order. He had a very heavy accent. He first told me they changed their prices yesterday. To which I challanged and then he said the delivery charge is $7 and when I told him that on the phone he told me the delivery charge is $2.50 he then said the Large Pizza is $19.99 to which I said no it says $16.99. He then said since I did half and half so he charged me for 2 medium pizza's to which I said you don't even have a Medium on your website only Small and Large. He then said well the difference is the tip to the driver. Of which I said you don't get to decide how much I tip the driver. He then had the nerve to tell me that I'm over at the JW Marriott having fun, he can charge me whatever he wants and I should just enjoy my pizza. I then realized that since my cell number is an 818 area code that this guy thinks I'm a tourist and is fully taking advantage. Not only am I a Las Vegas local but I also run events in Las Vegas. He said that I shouldn't be arrguing over $5. It's the principle not the money and I don't like being taken advantage of. Hopefully this happened to me because I do question things and I will speak up. I hope this review will help save someone the frustration.
As for the food. Here is my review. The salad was good, no complaints. The pizza was OK, not bad but not great or even good. I'd say it was similar to Papa Johns.
There are way better pizza places in town and especially on this side of town. If you want deliver go with Papa Johns if you want awesome pizza try Eastside Pizza or Nathans. Not only will you be very pleased with the food but you don't have to worry about being taken advantage of.
Shame on you Mr. I don't have to tell...
Read moreIf you eat here dont be surprised if you get very ill. The guy who makes the pizzas is dirty and nasty and violates every health code in the book. My husband drives for Uber eats and had to go here and pick up a order. While he was standing there waiting on his order, he watched the cook cough right onto the dough of 2 pizzas. After coughing on all over the pizza dough he was prepairing he reached around and scratched his ass with his bare hands. Wasnt wearing any gloves either. Nor did he bother to wash his hands after coughing and scratching his nasty ass. My husband refused to take the pizzas he just coughed all over and had his dirty filthy hands that scratched his ass, and no food prep gloves, and deliver them to the customer. He told that guy that he needed to wash his hands and put on food prep gloves and remake those pizza. They guy started an argument with my husband and was threatening to call the police. My husband told him to call the police and while you have them on the phone tell them to call the health department while theyre at it and close your place down for serious health violations. Well that filthy slob had no choice but to remake those pizzas. As my husband, was leaving he watched the guy go back to coughing all over the food prep area and of course not wearing any gloves again. Sticking his dirty filthy hands deep into all the veggies and toppings and coughing right into the prep table. So if you have eaten here and became sick with the flu, salmonella, ecoli, or any other illness, now you know where you got it from. I will be turning him into the Health Dept as soonas they open. Im also going to contact Darcy Spears from Channel 13 news. She does the Dirty Dining segment for the news. Im sure shell be the 1st one knocking on their door with the Health Dept. Just a warning Do not eat at this place until they get proper training in the food industry. And clean up there business. Possibly hire a whole new staff at least replace that guy that makes your food. Hes just a rude nasty filthy guy who needs to find anotber job. Just overall a real prick. Just a warning to anyone that eats here. You never no what extra biological toppings your getting on your pizza...
Read moreNot going to lie, everything smelled SO GOOD… not one of us took pictures. We just opened everything and started passing, eating, and Mmmm Mmmm Umm hmmm-ing. . . Ordered: Stuffed Grape Leaves, Fried Zucchini, Meat Lovers Stromboli, Shrimp Alfredo Pizza (with Spinach), a Beef Lasagna dinner (Salad with Blu Cheese), and a Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo dinner (Salad with Oil and Vinegar). . . Negative: The chicken with the dinner was a little dry, HOWEVER the flavoring and the sear on it becomes this aromatic, burst of flavor with the more than adequate buttery, sauced noodles. So NO COMPLAINTS HERE, just an honest review. . . Positive: . ~Grape Leaves! Best I’ve found outside of home rolled! Not just rice with a lemon twist at an overcharged price, SO GOOD with finger licking good oil that goes BEAUTIFULLY on the dinner salad. . ~Shrimp Alfredo Pizza! I had added Spinach, alas they were out and as I came up with Bacon, they gentlemen recommended Basil. Both would go fantastic of, and as I was mentally tasting each, he says, “I’ll add both.” Let me tell you… WOW! The garlic, onions, shrimp, bacon, with the basil all held in hot mozzarella with creamy Alfredo sauce sneaking out with every bite. Oh yes, THIS with Manhattan’s crust will be had MANY more times! . ~ Beef Lasagna! From a foodie who I have witnessed try over 30 various recipes of restaurants’ lasagnas, she not only didn’t stop halfway, but over 4 times said, “That was the perfect bite that defines Lasagna. The flavorful meat, perfectly cooked pasta, fluffy Ricotta, gooey cheese, sauce with herbs and the right amount of tomato chunks….” She went on listing as she tasted more and more of the dish. . ~Meat Lovers Stromboli! It was ALL mine, but I did share :P . I waited 3 years to have this again!! To rip it apart; to break bread with my family and remember our loved ones. It’s the best of both worlds, part pizza and part Calzone, and ALL dip-able with the Calzone part for lunch...
