Absolutely the worst time I’ve ever had out at a restaurant. Murphy’s Law was in full effect. Check this out...
Went for XMAS eve/birthday dinner, reservation was for 7:45, got seated fairly quickly so that was good, server brought out the bread basket and that was very good. Put in our order and it was all downhill from there.
First problem, after waiting 15 minutes, we were told (without apology) that they were out of the chicken for the one dish. Kinda odd since it was a featured item, but ok. Ordered a different one, more time passed, then server came back and told us that there was no chicken at all in the place and that we had to order something else. Again, no ‘sorry’ or anything. One of our people went to speak to a manager about it and we decided to order steaks, steak/lobster, and sea bass instead.
It took forever to bring the food out. When asked why our order wasn’t put back to the front of the line where it should have been placed, server said it should have been and had no idea why it wasn’t.
Server brought the butter for the lobster out, but didn’t light it. About 10 minutes went by and after watching the server do everything but come back, I made a lighter hand gesture so they came over and said their ‘friend’ had the lighter and then proceeded to light it.
By the time the food finally came, we had been there between 1.25-1.5 hours. The steaks were way undercooked and needed to be sent back (2x medium came out as very rare) and one of them was half size. At first they tried to pass it off as ‘petite’ but then when challenged, they acknowledged that there was no such thing and ended up bringing another piece. I’m happy to report that the sea bass was actually ok.
Two side dishes our dining partners had came out and were good (asparagus and macaroni). But three of our side dishes that we had ordered never even came out (mashed, mushrooms, squash). We asked them where they were and what happened and were met with another clueless response.
Finally those were brought out towards the end of the ‘meal’ but everyone at our table of four didn’t even feel like eating anymore because we were in such disbelief with everything that was happening, so we just kinda picked away at things a bit. Even a glass of water that was ordered wasn’t brought out correctly and had to be replaced. They couldn’t even get WATER right. It was unreal.
Server offered dessert, so two were brought over (key lime pie and one other I forget) and they were picked at and reported to be good.
No manager came to touch the table at all, which we could not believe. Finally we told the server that the manager needed to come over, so she finally did. She was a FOH manager and she pretty much had no words for what transpired (not surprising), but she did end up saying sorry a bunch of times.
Prior to us leaving, the server said that they had never seen anyone experience anything like this in their 2+ years there. I can only hope that’s true. They finally said sorry a bunch of times too.
They ended up comp’ing the botch job of a ‘meal.’
It was super disappointing because we’d never been here before and we heard so many good things about this place, and because it was a dual type of special occasion for us. We could have went other places that we knew and loved, but we chose this place instead.
Most times we’d give a place a second chance, but this experience was so bad, it’d take a miracle to get us to ever walk back in those doors...

All of the food was excellent and high quality. The roasted brussel sprouts with bacon were very good! The wedge salad might have been the best wedge salad we've ever had, yummy chunky Bleu cheese. Speaking of the best, the lobster on the seafood tower was some of the best lobster we've had in a very long time. All of the seafood was excellent. The king crab was cracked for us, and very juicy. The shrimp was huge, more like prawns. And, the oysters were delicious! So was the dry aged ribeye, cooked to perfection as ordered. We could not have had a better experience during this visit. The place was hopping, and the atmosphere was fun. Thanks for a wonderful evening!
Early May 2024: We had a very nice meal at this establishment. There were five of us, so we ordered three of the sides to share. The asparagus, lobster mashed potatoes and mushrooms were all very good. The wedge salad was excellent, especially the bleu cheese. The New York steak I ordered had quite a bit of fat and gristle throughout, not the best cut. The dry aged ribeye was served raw instead of rare, causing us to have to send it back to get it cooked a little more. The king crab legs that were served as a side were rather small and skinny. The full-sized king crab leg serving included much larger legs, and was better tasting than the small legs. Derek, our server, was sometimes hard to find during our dinner, but always served us well. The filet mignon was perfect. One of the other New York steaks was perfect. The oysters were excellent. Although I asked where they were from, I never did get a response. We were also told that we would get extra plates for our sides, but never did. One round of Cokes we were served was more like carbonated water with caramel coloring. They swapped out the cylinder, and brought us more. The Pinot Noir wine was very good; so was the steak carpaccio. Overall, a pretty good meal. But, for the money, I expected better.
Old: Fantastic Tuesday night special with a 32 oz. prime tomahawk includes two salad choices, two side choices and two dessert choices! The food is very well prepared. One example is the asparagus stalks can be eaten all the way to the end. Their salads are fantastic. The Fleming's potatoes are superb. The service could not have been better. We were attended to as if we were owners of the restaurant. With our reservations, we were invited right in. The lobster bisque is the best we've ever tasted! Even the pre-dinner bread was unique, and served with a brei spread and a chardonnay onion spread. Their Fleming's house salad includes cranberries and pecans. Fresh ingredients, great flavors. Altogether, a very fine meal of which I would give six...
Read moreLet me start off by saying the Oct 7, 2023 experiece we all had at the Summerlin location was a beautiful sunrise, compared to the Las Vegas blvd location we originally had a dinner at on Aug 27, 2023. Unfortunately our original visit to LV Blvd location was a hot mess from service, food, coctails and agumentive management. Which is not at all the Fleming's way. Which I am speaking from my own, and families experiences. From our many, many visits to the unique & amazing, attentiveness we shared with partner- Troy, Scotty & Elyse-manager, plus the entire staff of bartenders & servers. The AtL - Olde Perimeter way location we had considered our home for a amazing meals, converstations, and overall the extra attention we rec'd on special occassions. Our visit to the Orlando location to celebrate my 60th is another amazing, and outstanding location, from serve to food. So, why wouldn't we want to gift our mother & father with a wonderful dinning experience at Fleming's LV Blvd. in order to celebrate a 74th b-day + 30 yr Anniversary. Yet, after the horrible experience at LV Blvd location, we were given the opprotunity to re-celebrate w/our family at the Summberlin Fleming's. Our reservations had been set up for us by a partner from the corp. office. We flew into Vegas for this special re-do dinner. And the moment we walked into the doors of the Summerlin Flemings we were greeted with smiles, politness, kind conversation, and escorted to our amazing table for 6. We immediatly knew we were home with our Fleming's fam, from the wonderful atmosphere and anbience of peace. Tiffany (our server) was gracious, kind, and described items off the menu beautifully. And even though she had a cute baby bum, she was on her toes giving each of us extra ordinary service. Actually, every employee who we encountered went out of they're way, which seemed to be the norm for them all. Tana - manager, come to our table, and other tables just to check in with diners. Everyone's food came to the table at the same time, everything was fresh, and the taste was amazing. I had an expresso martin that was delightful! All in all this evening did make up for the bad experiece at the other location.Yet in all honesty we should not have had to fly back into Vegas to have a re-do celebration with our family members. Which we should have had at the LV Blvd location the 1st time. But, we were soooooo happy we now know the Summerlin location will be our place when we visit Vegas, and we visit often. Thank you to all the staff, and corp office of Summerlin Flemings for introducing us to this wonder experience, again. P.S. I have pictures of our not good experience, and our AMAZING experience. I can send if you...
