Yoav Tauber did my hair, will NEVER come back! He is a good hairdresser and you will receive a good haircut but he lacks experience in color. Multiple issues I had are as follows.
The picture that I brought, did not look like the end result. One rule of a hairdresser is to communicate with your client. e.g "Do you want your hair to have highlights or an all over dark color." I assumed that when I brought in a "ombre" photo I would have highlights. Nope.
The color formula was not right. Even after a fellow co-worker helped, it was not right. The roots were so dark and he didnt even weave any lowlights to blend in the root color. Additionally, any hairdresser knows don't put an ASH color over blond hair. Yep got dark roots and some grey hair.
He was not transparent about his color prices. When I go home and looked at the bill it said $285. He reports is was $200 for color. A good hairdresser would explain the prices upfront, right. I literally just paid $200 for an all over color without highlights. I could have done this myself! Then I asked him to give me at least $100 dollars so I can at least get my hair fixed. He said, "You paid for my time." He was "willing" to give me highlights but why would I want to have my hair messed up again?! After that I assume he blocked my phone number since he did respond back to my giving him an education about color and professionalism. By the way, I was a color educator for Toni&Guy.
All he had to do was be honest and say" I don't have experience with coloring your hair color," I would have been fine with going to him for haircuts because they are good. In all I learned to ask exactly what the hair prices are and experiences with color. So thank you for that life lesson.
Message to you Yoav, get some color classes!!! If you are not properly trained, you should not be offering that service.
Attached are some before and after photos. The photo with my hair color blonde with the bear are before I received the hair color minus the grown out roots.
The photos with the dark color and roots are is the result of my experiences with Yoav Tauber color expertise.
I also attached photos of the "fixed" hair color I did myself. Then there is the "ombre photo" that I brought in which clearly does not look like the...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Mosaic Salon in Summerlin at Boca Park Fashion Village for a men's cut, and the experience exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we stepped through the door, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and exuded a sense of style.
For my men's cut, I was attended to by an incredibly talented stylist named Juan Carlos. He and his assistant Brittany listened attentively to my preferences and provided valuable suggestions to enhance the final result of our hair. The attention to detail was outstanding, and I walked out feeling confident with a haircut that perfectly suited my style. Juan Carlos demonstrated exceptional skill and made the entire process enjoyable and even made me laugh a few times.
What truly sets Mosaic Salon apart is their dedication to outstanding customer service. My daughter also had the pleasure of getting her hair done by, Juan Carlos. His expertise and care made my daughter feel special and ensured that she left with a smile on her face. She couldn't stop with the selfies. Juan Carlos took the time to understand my daughter's preferences and created a hairstyle that she absolutely adored. We were both thrilled with the final results.
The salon itself is beautifully designed and exudes elegance. The staff at Mosaic Salon are professional, friendly, and create a welcoming environment. The cleanliness and attention to hygiene were exemplary, which added to the overall comfort and enjoyment of our visit.
I cannot recommend Mosaic Salon enough for men's cuts and hairstyling needs. From the exceptional skills of the stylists to the top-notch service, they truly go above and beyond. Whether you're looking for a fresh haircut or styling services for your little ones, Mosaic Salon in classy Summerlin is the place to be. We will definitely be returning for all our future...
Read moreVegas is a weird town for beauty services — everything is so hit or miss, and mostly miss, it seems. Mosaic, however, is a hit.
We recently moved from the east coast and have been trying places out in order to find a longterm salon/stylist. Mosaic’s phone staff is super sweet — I called to see if they could squeeze me in somewhere last minute for holiday parties and they called me back and were able to get me an appt the next morning. My husband tagged along with my teenage daughter and I and they were also able to get him in on a walk-in basis when we were done.
First, Haley is amazing. I had box-dyed reddish-brown on my hair and those annoying late-30’s grays sticking up all over the roots. I thought it would be a whole process that would take several appointments to correct, but I showed Haley a photo and she said “That’s easy, let’s do it,” even though I was only scheduled for a cut. She’s an insanely talented colorist, a good conversationalist, and a super cool chick all around. She did an awesome job on my blunt cut too. I think Ive found my new regular stylist.
Meanwhile, my daughter got a balayage and a trim that turned out amazing, but I didnt catch her stylist’s name. The same stylist did my husband’s haircut and tbh it didn’t turn out great for $60 and he had to go get it touched up elsewhere last minute, but to be fair, the same woman did an crazy good job on my daughter’s hair so I’ll chalk it up to my hubby not communicating well what it is he wanted. Hubs probably won’t return, but I’ll continue to see the amazing Haley and my daughter and I will be...
