Update September 2025:
Still straight 5s. Lexi was our server and she was terrific. We had such fun! The bread service was outstanding. She had the French 75 cocktail and I had the smoked Manhattan. Both were fantastic. We shared an order of the pot stickers and then house salads--terrific. She had the Ahi with rice and bulgogi sprouts salad, while I had two apps for my entree: the sashimi and the mussels. Everything was perfect. And if you don't like brussel sprouts--and I don't--you'll be surprised at how good they are here!
Another amazing Bonefish experience. Thank you all so much!
Update, June 2025:
We made it. While our house isn't finished yet, we decided to make the move and lease while we wait. But we couldn't wait to get back to Bonefish. Still delicious. Faith was our server and she was terrific. Our drinks, wine, appetizer, salads, and entrees were all terrific; a real treat. No change to the "all fives" ratings, of course!
Update, December 2024:
We're back! We've purchased a house that won't be finished for a year, but we're here to do some work on it. So, of course, we had to come back to Bonefish!
We started with cocktails. She had the the White Cosmo and I had the smoky Old Fashioned. Heck, yeah! We split the sashimi app--it was perfect. She had the Chilean bass with the brussels sprouts and risotto, while I had the seafood linguini. Both were excellent. We added a bottle of sublime chardonnay and could not possibly see ourselves to the dessert menu. Sorry!
Alfredo was our server and he took care of everything. What a nice guy and excellent server! We love good service even more than good food, but at Bonefish we don't have to choose. Thanks, Alfredo!
We love Bonefish and don't have one back home. I'm not saying it's the reason we're coming home to Vegas, but it's certainly on our minds! We can't wait to be regulars upon our return.
It was great to be back! We had not eaten in a Bonefish since leaving the East Coast 5 years ago. But while visiting Vegas, we saw this one and knew we had to try it. We had high expectations--it was one of our favorites before, and they were certainly met.
I had the mussels and the ahi, she had the sea bass. But from our initial drinks to the glasses of wine to the entrees, we were very impressed. And our server, Chad, made sure we were taken care of the entire way.
We had built it up in our minds, missing Bonefish all the while living in Phoenix, but even still, this version did not disappoint!
Hey, Bonefish, when ya...
Read moreMy family and I have visited this restaurant twice (once on 25 Oct 2020; the other on 9 Nov 2023). The funny thing about this restaurant chain is that our first ever experience was back in 2014 timeframe and I recall that we had such an awful experience (mainly in the customer service area), to which we claimed we would never go back. However, here we are 9+ years later, and we've eaten at this restaurant two more times. I don't recall what we ate during our first two visits, so I'll mainly focus on our meals during the 9 Nov visit.
For the 9 Nov visit, it was just my wife and I. We ordered the Maryland-Style Crab Cakes, Chilean Sea Bass, Cod Imperial, Steamed Asparagus, Kung Pao Brussel Sprouts, Jasmine Rice, and Garlic Whipped Potatoes. Additionally, I ordered the Jefferson's Ocean Old Fashioned and the Smoked Old Fashioned. Our food and drinks were phenomenal, with the exception of the Sea Bass. I can't say it was my favorite...it just didn't taste as fresh as I've had at other restaurants in this city. The texture was less than adequate as well, but the sauce was good. Again, I don't recall everything we ordered from our previous visits; however, I do recall that we tried the BangBang Shrimp, Mahi-Mahi and Shrimp, and Rainbow Trout, and I remember that the BangBang Shrimp was out of this world. We also ordered the Pumpkin Spice Lava Cake and I'll have to say that I was a little disappointed with it because I thought Lava Cakes are supposed to have the center ooze out when cut. But maybe the liquid hot magma wasn't as significant during this eruption which forced the lava to cool immediately? Who knows...
The service at this restaurant was superb; from the moment we walked in, to when we left - this even applies to our 25 Oct visit as well. The price-to-quantity/quality ratio was reasonable and I greatly appreciate how this restaurant supports the men and women of the Armed Forces and its Veterans. I know this place doesn't top the charts of a high-end seafood restaurant located off the Pacific coast, but it's still worth trying if you haven't been here before - I recommend this place...
Read moreWe were seated right away since it's not busy. Service was subpar.
Ordered the strawberry martini and the rim had no dark chocolate and half the rim with raw sugar. When asking about the dark chocolate for the rim, the waiter says he left it off because they didn't have any dark chocolate shaved and he'd have to shave it. That's a poor excuse for not making the drink correctly. Then, the waiter brings back an empty glass that has dark chocolate and raw sugar around the rim. He poured the original drink in the glass so the martini has dark chocolate swimming it.
The Coke is flat. They need to change it out. They did bring another Coke but nothing changed.
The crab cakes were tasty but could have been cooked a little longer.
The grilled salmon was cooked correctly, but instead of mango salsa, we were given melted butter. The waiter later brought the mango salsa after we asked for it again.
The waiter upcharged us by choosing the large grilled salmon instead of the small grilled salmon.
I looked and didn't see any hearing aids on this waiter, but it's evident that he either needs to clean his ears or get a hearing aid (Miracle Ear). He definitely did NOT listen at all. You all definitely need to get or offer some health insurance to Christopher, so he can get his hearing checked ASAP.
We sat on the patio. Most of the tables were filled on the patio. Most of the tables inside were empty and two people at the bar. Therefore, you can see that it wasn't busy. There are no excuses for poor service.
All in all, with the service provided tonight, we probably...
