Hopefully the two stars will multiply after we try this beautiful cafe again, but that won’t be for awhile. Our first go wasn’t what we hoped for. We walked in and the sign read to place your order at the bar first. So we did, paid and tipped before seating ourselves. I per usual ordered just the side salad with an emphasis on no dressing and my fiancé ordered the Eggs Benedict. I’m not sure why but some places really can’t understand what “no dressing” means and this is another one of them. Before my simple, small salad came out an employee came up to the table to “better understand” my order. I again said , just the Side side salad that’s on the menu under sides but just with No Dressing, just PLAIN. She smiled and said okay so I assumed she understood. Well it came out doused in some salty oil (which I medically cannot have) so I had to return that & although I didn’t want another one (because this was taking all to long for something so simple already) I didn’t really have a choice since it’s prepaid. Meanwhile No servers seemed to be around for at least 5 minutes so I had to bring it back in myself to have it remade. Finally I get my simple salad and notice my fiancé has only ate about 3 bites of his food. He hated it. Like truly did not like anything about it,down to even saying the ketchup tasted bad. It looked pretty and tasty to me but he couldn’t do it. Three bites and he was done. He couldn’t even eat the potatoes. When I asked he just said they were not good. My fiancé is not a picky eater by any means or hard to please at all and we eat a wide variety of foods from all over the world so I was shocked by his disapproval. This was just our first time going. I’m not going to slam the place. The aesthetics of the cafe is on point. I love the design, the floors, the colors are great. It’s a beautiful place and the outdoor seating area is an A+ it’s super cute. They have many items on the menu from sandwiches, to pasta dishes , bakery items and lavish full salads to choose from so there’s lots to try. This was just our experience today. I don’t not recommend this place yet, after sometime we will return...
Read moreHad high hopes for this spot, but a multitude of experiences factored into my review. I got the hamburger that the cashier raved was one of their best items, it is essentially $20 after taxes and everything… won’t lie it was extremely underwhelming for what I paid. The patty was overwhelming smaller than the bun, which made it awkward to eat. The 6 pieces of lettuce too feel like more of an afterthought rather than to enhance the burger. The caramelized onions were smashed into the top too and felt like it was only half the serving they normally give. The meat itself was also well done when the standard is for medium (which I requested and stressed to have). The service was probably the bigger issue, they forgot close to 4 different things (harissa mayo was missing which the ticket said on the side on recommendation of cashier), the fries weren’t salted at all and a bit over done and crunchy. They also forgot the tzatziki sauce for my partner and gave her tahini (the ticket showed to sub it out too). My burger came out close to 10 mins AFTER my partner got her pita sandwich…it just seems weird to have the bun be disproportionately bigger than patty, just press it and smash it down so it fills out the buns.
Overall it was such a let down as the pictures and food sounded and looked amazing, but just feels like another place that cares more about branding than just performing well and bringing great quality. There seems to be a massive lack of communication and attention to detail especially when the tickets state what the customer wanted.
$40+ for two rather underwhelming items, not sure I would come back here, the burger tasted like something from a backyard bbq.

Read moreThis review is going to be extra wordy because this slice of heaven deserves every word! The decor/vibe/scene: it recently opened so everything is new/clean, modern and very tastefully decorated, comfortable, spacious, two areas perfect for a larger group, a beautiful bar, nice music playing at just the right volume, overall a lively/fun atmosphere. Open for breakfast/brunch/lunch/dinner. The dinner menu: very diverse (Italian and Middle Eastern focused) plus burgers, fish, sandwiches, pizza, salads, pastries, kids' menu, etc.). They BAKE their own breads/pastries and the pasta is fresh. Here are three items on the menu you MUST get: 1, Challah bread...comes out hot and to die for! Smaller in size daily with the added bonus on Fridays when they are sold in a larger size. 2, Aireis...oh my goodness. This is beyond delicious. I can't recommend this dish enough. PLEASE order it. Lastly, 3, Nutella Rosalach & Lotus Rosalach - this blew our mind. Lotus is creamy Biscoff cookie butter in case you didn't know. We also enjoyed perfectly-grilled salmon, two different entree salads, beef and lamb kebabs with yummy fries, a freshly made Mezza Platter to go with the challas, cheesecake, baklava and Turkish coffee. We'll be bringing friends and family there OFTEN to try out other menu items. If you have a good look at the menu, you'll appreciate all the offerings. That goes for breakfast and lunch, too. I'll end by saying that the chef is amazing, the owner is such a good guy and you'll get top notch service, too. A+++ 11 out of 10. My 18-yr old son on the drive home said, unsolicited, it is "the best Middle Eastern food...
