I walked in with the intent of getting mango salsa. I absolutely love their mango salsa. As I walk through the door, I got a very friendly greeting with a smile from the guy behind the counter. That was the first good thing. I walk back and I asked hey is it possible to get just the mango sauce so not the chips and salsa and he said yes but he looked over toward where your salsa bar is and explain to me you're out of mango salsa. He explained that sometimes it's hard to get mangos, And when it is you don't offer the mango salsa. Very disappointing because it's so delicious and I've been looking forward to it for like 3 days. Unfortunately I only know of one location of Baja Fresh left in the Vegas Valley... And that is this one on West Charleston. I left, disappointed, but I understood what he explained to me. I had to stop at the grocery store on my way home and I think I was more disappointed when I got in and was getting my fruits that I saw an abundance of mangos there for the picking! If they're that abundant at just one grocery store I can't believe that you guys couldn't get enough to supply one restaurant in the Vegas Valley. So that's a little disappointing. Other than that the experience was okay. I just wish you had more locations...
Read moreBeing that I work directly in Customer Service, which I am passionate about, at times I can be a bit naïve when I receive bad customer service. Today I went into this Boca Park Location on my lunch break and was treated as if I was not welcome. I ordered my food from a pleasant guy, walked over to put my Pico Di Gallo in the small containers, when all of a sudden I heard a lady yell over the counter "Mam do you want the Juice or not?" I was like what? what are you talking about, she yells so loud that others stopped and watched her walk from behind the counter and says to me I am contaminating the sauce. I said what are you saying, I am simply putting the tops on and trying to keep the juice from running every where. She calls some one over in front of all of the guest and removed and bowl with a smirk. I will never, ever forget this experience and will never return to this location, although a few times out of the month I work right across from it, I I rather spend my money else where. I will also post this on Yelp so other Afro Americans can see!! By the way Her Name is Martha the store/shift manager.
PS: I did speak to the Area Manager who was very pleasant and also stunned by her actions, however It does not take away the way I was...
Read moreThis place is SEVERELY overpriced. I paid $15 for a burrito and a cup of water. You will pay about double what the meal is worth, if the meal were actually cooked fresh and delicious. But my burrito was cold to the touch and unappetizing, and it took about 10 minutes to make (my order had one burrito, and that's it). There was a line of 8 or 10 people in front of me and behind me all waiting for their food too.
I have been to this location two times, separated by about a year, and had the same experience both times. Busy, freezing cold inside, cold food, overpriced. I've never been more grossed out by a dining experience than trying to choke down a cold chicken burrito, which ironically, was wrapped in foil. Hey Einstein, the burrito is wrapped in foil to RETAIN WARMTH, because burritos are...
