I was a regular customer here until I started trying to watch hockey games. The past three times I've been here they change the channel in the middle of the game.
Most recently we sat in an area off to the side in hopes that we could watch the Golden Knights game, all was well until someone sat in our area and asked for football. They changed the channel and when we asked about it politely we were told by a manager that they had a contract with the NFL and wouldn't change it back. I asked if we could move somewhere else since the only screen I could see from my seat had football. The table behind us said they would move if they found something for them. This is about where our table starts getting completely ignored by the staff. We sat there for a while just trying to close out our check so that we could finish the game somewhere else. At one point the manager comes up to the table behind us and tells them they have a new seat for them, they decide not to move, the other table was never offered to us.
A new waitress randomly brings us a beer we did not order and we finally get our check only to find out that we were charged for the random beer. So now we are trying to get this mystery beer removed from our check and the manager starts being rude to us saying he doesn't make the rules about the games. We didn't even bring it up and were just trying to leave at this point.
Worst part by the time we finally got out of there the game was over and we had to look up who won on our phones. Moral of the story don't come here for hockey games, even though they advertise that they show them, they do not. Will not be coming back. You lost not one, but two regular customers and the food made us both sick to add...
Read moreMy most recent visit was an impromptu brunch with the bff and PKWY did good...
PKWY Service & Ambiance: Definite tavern feel complete with brick walls, tons of beer taps and flat screens to watch sports. (whenever they return) We sat at the bar and our bartender was fantastic. He was attentive to our bottomless brunch mimosas throughout the morning. The kitchen brought our food to the table quickly.
PKWY grindage: We stopped by for bottomless mimosas and brunch, so of course started off with the Box Nachos: A yummy and generous size nachos that come served to you in a pizza box. This is bar food at it's finest and it made for a great brunch appetizer for us. Breakfast Burrito: The breakfast burrito was stuffed with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and cheese. Ingredients were fresh, i would definitely order again and overall all good. Chicken Fingers: BFF went with the brunch chicken finger lol They met all expectations that chicken fingers should as bar food.
Overall, it was a nice quiet spur of the moment brunch with bar food mainly and PKWY Tavern Tivoli delivered. The $18 bottomless mimosas was such value as the service was great and our glasses were never empty. If you come to PKWY for bar food and atmosphere, you're going to be just...
Read moreMy partner and I stopped here after bowling at the Suncoast. We've driven by Tivoli Village many times but we're always headed somewhere else. This time we thought we'd take a chance with the neighborhood bar. The waitress was very friendly and professional and came over right away as soon as we sat down. Loved the light and spacious feeling of the tavern. The windows pulled back to have an entire open wall. Love the slight breeze and the Las Vegas temperature for change was perfect. We decided to share something so we ordered the chicken wings. the chicken wings came with fries, carrots and celery. The chicken wings were done to a nice crispy golden brown, but still tender and moist on the inside. Real chicken not pressed pieces parts. The fries were pencil size fries. Which means they're just a little bit thinner than what you would get at a regular fast food place. They were seasoned nicely, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I always like the carrots and celery. Regrettably these were old, leaving the carrot kind of tasteless and soft and celery was slightly limp and old. Not very tasty. I did like the Ambiance and the cocktails were good. The service was good. We would come back but I hope they read the review and fix their...
