Order at register, then sit in one of the few uncomfortable chairs at the handful of tables. Staff was surly, at best. watched one male staff member spill sugar all over the drink dispenser counter whipe making himself a cup of coffee, then just left it like that and went on break. Ordered. breakfast burrito without avocado, when we got food 10 minutes later, it was ice cold. Like, literally felt refrigerated on one side. Asked them to throw it in the microwave for 30 seconds, was told they'd make a new one. I said please just heat this one up, we're in a bit of a time crunch. Nope, 10 minutes later they bring a new one, filled with (you guessed it) Avocado. Since we couldn't afford another 10 minute wait, I just scraped it out of the burrito and ate it. Tasteless, bland, and missing the chorizo that was supposed to be in there. The fruit side was 2 grapes and some underripe melon cubes. Gross and sour tasting. Read moreI used to love Rachel's kitchen but, I will never go back. I ordered food here in Oct of 18' and found 2 long light brown strands of hair in my food and my hair is jet black... I was only credited for the meal the hair was in which luckily was the first thing I opened and the item, I believe, was less than 5$ on a 75$ order. Now, I dont know about you guys but if I find a hair in my food I'm not risking eating the rest of the food because its contaminated. When I brought it to their attention they would not rectify the $ for the order which I thought was very unprofessional and unfortunately they lost a customer for life. I understand not every food experience is going to be 100% all the time but when you do not fix the issue for the customer.. I have a problem with that. Read moreMy family loves going to Rachel’s, we have been enjoying their food for years. We used to go to the Durango location but now go to the Trailwood location in Summerlin. Our schedule has us going there at 7:00 p.m, a full hour before they close and we always order online so the food is ready. The last few times we have went one of the servers begins cleaning shortly after we arrive. She comes it with a mop bucket, filled with chemical water, and begins mopping the floor, right by where we are eating. Tonight, we actually moved from the back of the restaurant to the front, hoping the server would take the hint and stop mopping, but she did not, she continued mopping until I finally had to say something. A meal for 2 people here costs 50.00 + and somehow these employees think it is appropriate to mop in your face while your eating. We love the food here (it is great) but I would hope a manger can rectify this...
