Rustic House Boca Park — Restaurant in Las Vegas

Some food items are good while others just aren’t. My daughter loves the maple salmon and house salad. I like the surf and turf specials even though the quality has gone down - it’s still a good deal. But the au jus for the beef dip is flavorless, the carne asada is greasy and the tortillas are terrible. I used to like the Rustic House but they have gotten stingy with the drinks they comp and aren’t consistent with who they do comp. I spent $60 and they tried to charge me for 2 of my 4 drinks. My friend who put in only $20 and played the same amount of time as me got both of her drinks comped. I brought a large group of ladies and called in advance to make the reservation and asked for separate checks. A few days before my reservation I cleared it with the manager Charles. The day of the reservation Charles was there and despite my request we got one check. I brought this to Charles’s attention and he didn’t apologize and said I hadn’t mentioned it to the server, which I did when we first sat down. He basically just shrugged and did nothing to correct the situation. When we order food to go half the time our order is missing something. Bartender dark haired mullet guy gave me the worst service. When I rolled in I saw so many people in the parking lot and I understood why. He was so aggressive and got so mad I talked to a waitress that was off duty. Super unprofessional and super jealous. Me and the waitress vibed on 80’s music lyrics and held hands and it was just too much for this guy so he lost his shit. And went nuts. Forced me to sit at a seat because “that’s normal what restaurant doesn’t do that” me and said waitress felt the awkwardness and gave each other disapproving looks. He proceeded to treat me poorly and have erratic behavior. Previously i confronted him about which he dismissed but after the second time I called it out again and he got super aggressive. Which I requested my food to go. He further got more aggressive and at that point I decided to leave. There was so sort of weird love trip there which he was insecure about and took it out on me in front over customers which we all looked at each other like “is this guy crazy” tale as old as time. Food is great! Lots of selection service was a little slow. It wasn't that crowded but we'll always give it a try. I never know what's going on. Want to mention though, if it's a bar and you want for people to wait to be seated then please have a sign that says wait to be seated. My date and I had a big argument because I said we didn't have to wait because there was no hostess around for the first 15 minutes and then she showed up and sat us down. Technically there was no sign so I just assumed we could seat ourselves since there was really a lot of open seating and it is a bar. A lot of people will walk in and just stand there assuming to be seated. I am not one of those people which is where our argument ensued because I just assumed we could go seat ourselves while other people stood there and then my date was very upset with me that I was going to just seat myself. I didn't. I waited because he was very agitated. However, again it is a bar so I just assumed you could walk on in and sit down.
