I came to pick up a delivery order on September 19th. I left around 10:00 p.m. without the order after waiting at least 20 minutes, probably a lot longer. When I arrived the guy who answered the intercom in the stall said they had just received the order, would get working on it, and it would be a 5 minute wait. Two cars showed up after me, ordered, and got their orders very quickly. I still had not received my delivery order. After those two cars got their food I continued waiting probably another 10 minutes. Nothing! A couple minutes after I had arrived the girl taking orders outside did tell me she saw the order I was waiting for in the computer, so there's no excuse for this crazy long wait. If another driver picked it up already, or you guys were out of stock in something and were not able to complete the order, the employees should tell me that information right away so I can get on my way and not waste my time. This is not the first time this has happened. It's happened multiple times this year at this location. If you don't have an adult manager keeping an eye on these kids, they're not going to do their jobs the right way. But they will have no problem collecting their paycheck on payday! And I say this from 25 years of restaurant experience. The last dozen years I was the closing manager, so I saw how the kids would act at night time after the store manager left for the day. Get somebody in there to manage these kids that's at least 30 years old with some prior restaurant experience. If you want to penny pinch and offer low pay for a manager, you're going to get what you pay for. If you hire a kid to manage the other kids, you're not going to solve the problem and your business is going to continue to suffer. I have been delivering full-time for 5 years after quitting the restaurant industry and I can tell you from experience that a lot of delivery customers will get irritated and eventually cancel their orders after a long wait. The customer apps for Uber Eats and Doordash show them if the driver has left the restaurant yet or not. When they see the driver just waiting and waiting and waiting, a lot of people will cancel the order after a certain amount of time. That's going cost your business money. I know Doordash and Uber Eats charge the restaurants about 30% of the order total, but you know what? 70% of something is better than...
Read moreOn 8/27/24 I visited sonic drive up stall after picking my grandson up from school I ordered the under $4 Double pound cheese burger and a small fries along with a kids meal. I also ordered a small blue coconut slush for myself and my grandson but I was calling it wrong I called it a blue hawian slush apparently the young black unknown cashier starts getting a attitude and begins to rush me through my order asking is that all repeatedly. She later delivers my food with a attitude no personality or smile no nothing normally I tip them but she did not get one. On 8/28/24 my grandson asked to go to sonic again because he like the slush I get there and thud time I go through the drive Thru hoping to avoid the rudeness like yesterday. I approach and I began to order I ordered the same exact thing I ordered on 8/27/24 only this time the cashier is arguing with me that they don't have a cheeseburger 🙃 I said mam I just had it here yesterday she continued to argue back and forth until I finally said mam there are other customers behind me I'm not going to hold them up arguing with you and please have your manager at the window. I approach the window and spoke to someone name Kyle stating he is the district manager for location I asked what employee name was he stated Kim was her name I'm not even too sure if the names he gave were real. I also stated to him that I do reviews he shockly said oh you do. He did apologize for her behavior and stated he would talk to her. I will not be returning this store until they learn how to be professional and learn customer...
Read moreAs I write this, I am eating lunch here at Sonic Drive-in. I actually read the reviews of a place prior to visiting, and feel that some of the comments posted are complaints regarding matters which have nothing to do with actual customer service. Personally, as someone who works at 7-11 and understands the grind, especially for those in the food service industry, I emphasize with the servers here. My server, at least as far as the name on my receipt, was Graciela. She was professional, and even helped me make a card payment (because I had not used their kiosk before). I left a tip, and soon received my order. She asked me if there was anything else she could do for me, and treated me well. I have no complaints. An overall good experience. To those of you reading this, be kind to your servers. Many of them, like myself at 7-11, are regular people, too. If you treat them poorly, then you only have yourself to blame if the service is less than stellar. Respect goes both ways, and I left...
