After a very long hot day of taking my mom around to Drs appointments, she wanted a cherry slushie n onion rings from Sonic. After looking at the menu, mom decided she also wanted the sweet Asian chili (or whatever they were called) boneless wings. Easy enough right? NOT. We tried ordering from the app because the drinks are 50% off if you order thru the app. First, the app didn't have onion rings. So I pushed the call button on the menu to ask how come onion rings weren't on the app menu. She said she has never even seen the app, but that she'd come out n try to help us. She of course couldn't find how to order onion rings, so my mom settled with tater tots. I then go to order her cherry slushie, the app said that item is not available at that location. So again I press the call menu n asked if they had cherry slushies at that location n they said they did. I told her the app was saying they didn't. The girl then puts her manager on the speaker. I told the manager how we were trying to order thru the app to get our drinks 50% off n at first there was no option to order onion rings, n now it is saying that this location doesn't have cherry slushies. The manager proceeds to tell me that she hasn't ever seen or used the app either, so I can either order thru the app what the app allows me to or I can order thru her. I again told her the purpose of ordering thru the app was to get 50% off all of the drinks. I was so done n pissed that I just went ahead n ordered thru the speaker so we could get going. I feel there was very bad customer service because on the sign at the place you pull up to order is where I seen that you can get all drinks 50% off all day by using the app. The manager should have manually given us 50% off our drinks. I have worked at numerous jobs doing all kinds of customer service as well as different levels. Plus, whoever is in charge of any location, I feel all employees n especially managers should be trained about the app. It's like asking what comes on a particular sandwich n them not knowing. It is part of your company n a product made for the company, so why doesn't anyone know anything about it? My mom says everytime she goes to that particular location, the food n service is not very good. Thankfully there's another Sonic, even a lil closer maybe, the other direction that she goes to n we've been very happy everytime there. I'm glad the one by my house is super fast, friendly, n goes above n beyond everytime I've been. This Sonic on Nellis needs some work. Read moreFrom start to finish this was just a terrible experience. I had ordered through the app and set my expected time of arrival for specific time for my food to be ready. When I arrived I tried to check in with the app and it didn't work It was in a constant cycle of thinking so I closed open closed open close open the app maybe 10 times and I still can get it to work. Eventually somebody from the inside came out and asked me if I wanted to place a order and I told them that I had already placed the order and I gave them my name to which they replied they would check on it. The young man came back apologetic but said he didn't see anything and he began to ask me what did I order. When I checked the app my order was not in the app anymore however I still was charged on my credit card that I used which I showed them. Eventually a manager came out and explained that they did not get the order but that they did see my name come through. she called her manager who wasn't working at the time and ultimately they were able to help her figure out how to see the order. The young lady the manager who was helping me also misgendered me which I didn't take too kind to but I didn't make a big stink about it because the entire experience was terrible. I finally got my order 45 minutes after the original time that I set to pick up my order and when you consider the 15 minutes it took me to drive there I went from expecting my food in 15 minutes beginning it an hour later. I will definitely go to another location next time solely on the customer service and the fact that the app didn't work. Read moreThe food was wonderful. It is the only reason I will continue to go there. But there is a young man that was beyond rude and obnoxious. First he came to my vehicle and asked if I was trying to order something after I had alreay ordered on both my mobile app and checked in but also on the speaker too. I said yes and he said something under his breath and walked away. Then he brought my order out and there were 3 drinks to which I asked what is that, I only ordered 2 drinks and he snatched the receipt as if I was wrong and read it to me in a very snotty tone and found he was wrong and then instead of just saying do you want it anyway and telling me what it was he snatched it out of the tray nearly causing my drinks to fall and said fine if you dont want it and started walking away and I answered I dont even know what it was but sure l'll take it and he turned around again with snotty attitude and said too bad blew me a kiss and "sacheted" back in the building.
