UPDATING MY ORIGINAL REVIEW/RATING AND ATTACHING NEW PHOTOS.
It's been a while since my family and I ate at this restaurant; we last stepped foot in here on 8 Feb 2020 to be exact. We've also eaten here several times before 2020 and as you can tell, we absolutely love this place - here's why:
First and foremost, the food is outstanding! I don't ever recall experiencing less than adequate food quality here. We've sampled so many things on their menu and saying everything is good, is just an understatement. We've tried the build your own pasta, their pizza, medium-spiced chicken wings, Caprese Salad, Garden Salad, Baked Minestrone Soup, Toscana Pasta, Three Large Meatballs and Pasta, and last but certainly not least, the Broaster Chicken!!! When I first heard about this restaurant, it was difficult for me to comprehend that an Italian-themed restaurant would create such magnificent chicken. But dang, the Broaster Chicken is something everyone needs to experience.
Second, the customer service here is always extraordinary. When we recently visited on 22 Sep 2023, the entire staff working that night worked fast and efficient. All servers were so friendly, attentive, and professional...which is very surprising to me these days because it's not often you'll see customer service this superb in Las Vegas. And to top it off, then entire restaurant was full (every table was occupied and people were coming in and out to pick up food). I was just taken back on how fast they all worked without sacrificing customer service and most importantly, food quality. The server from our most recent visit (I presume her name was Brittany since that is what was written on our receipt) was of noteworthy significance - she definitely is a valued asset to this business.
Lastly, the price-to-quantity/quality ratio is phenomenal. When you pay a reasonable amount for chicken this opulent, it definitely puts a smile on your face. I especially enjoy how this restaurant supports the men and women of the Armed Forces and its Veterans - thank you for that! If you have never been to this restaurant before, you definitely need to take the time to visit - highly recommend to everyone! Thanks and we're certain that...
Read moreWe recently moved to this area and I've been looking forward to trying this place out. My family are huge pizza lovers and will literally drive an hour away to go to a pizza place we like. I was disappointed after coming here. When we walked in we were stared at at first then asked if were dining in. I said yes and were directed to a table. I immediately felt it wasn't a welcome experience, almost like were were intruding. We ordered a BBQ Chicken and Half Cheese and Pepporini pizza and some fries. When the fries came out they only gave us 1 small ketchup for the 5 of us. My wife tried to get the servers attention a few times but it seemed like we were ignored. Keep in mind they only had 3 other guest in the restaurant at this time. I had to get up and find the server to ask for more ketchup. When the BBQ pizza came out it had mushrooms and zucchini on it. It was odd and probably my fault for not asking what was on the pizza before ordering but figured it would be like any other place. I personally didn't care for it since the flavors didn't mesh well. As for the half cheese and pepporini, It almost tasted like reheated pizza. I'm assuming they probably had a whole cheese pizza already cooked since they sell by the slice and added pepporini and placed it in the oven to reheat. I'm not sure however it sure tasted like that. At the end of it for 2 pizzas, 5 soft drinks and 1 order of fries it cost us around $90. Honestly your better off going to metro pizza right down the street or marcos pizza which is always fresh. I'm truly disappointed in the place since I was really hoping for a good place right next...
Read moreI've been eating their food for a while now and usually it's really good. The last couple of visits have exposed some obvious changes in their operations.
I've worked for a lot of restaurants so I got kind of an eye for this stuff.
Two visits ago I got the baked minestrone and typically the meatballs are round and preformed into sphere like shapes. It seems like they were in some kind of jam with meatball shortages and ripped apart some ground beef from something else to put in there. It was really a turn off.
Now on the most recent visit, I bought one of their small pizzas for myself and the dough ball was obviously old and had been sitting out for a while without cover before they even formed my pie out of it (odd shape and texture of crust). The cheese tasted a little bit like a walk-in freezer. And the sauce seemed like it had been sitting around for a while as well (hence thickness and lack of moisture). I get that people try to maximize profits and reduce food costs etc but at the risk of quality. I don't think it's worth it in the end. I don't want restaurants deciding whether I'm willing to eat old food or not and putting my health at risk just to save a few pennies. That's only for me to decide when I'm cooking at my house for myself . The pizza certainly cost enough for me to get fresh ingredients.
Don't stop focusing on quality guys. It's pretty much all a place like yours has going for it. If I wanted inferior pizza, I would go to Little Caesars...
