I don’t normally do reviews, but this definitely is deserving Ashli (owner ) was a patient of an office that I worked at… The boss wife and I were looking for last artist because ours had moved out of state We schedule appointments over the next week, three different patients came into the office and told us not to go to her, stated she is an extreme narcissist! We didn’t get that from her so we decided to go The first year was great. I went every three weeks with an artist named Angie. While, I would be getting my lashes done Ashli would come in and say the bosses wife was crazy. She was no longer going to that office and she was surprised that she still came to get her lashes done, but she would take her money. I took a break for a few months when Ashli text me so I made another appointment to get a full set and she told me that Angie was no longer there, but she would do them for me. $140 and I had to come back to get them filled in two days later and she took another 45 minutes to fill them! (I had gone to Academy of hair design to get my lashes done and they did a better job there) She then gave me to an artist name, Erica I went to her on two occasions where my eyes were so bloodshot for 4 to 5 days after the appointment I sent pictures to Ashli she stated it was because I talked too much at the appointment She then gave me to another artist named Lauryn who stated it was probably the glue, and she changed it to “clear “glue in which my eyes no longer watered or red. But the length was too long and they didn’t seem as curled I got them filled yesterday and as you can see in the photo( not a great photo but you can see all of the blonde lashes)there are many of my lashes that are not filled, I had previously asked Ashli because I felt this had happened several times before. She stated every lash that could be lashed should be filled. These lashes were definitely fillable. I even expressed many times I would pay more to have them filled in! I went back-and-forth through text message with Lauryn and decided I would just call Ashli At that same time, Ashli text me instead of picking up the phone and calling like a business owner should! The lengths were not noted as what I wanted in their notes so therefore, that is why I was not happy! Ashli stated on the phone that her establishment obviously could not make me happy when in reality if the last artist would’ve used length 8,9,10 with a D curl and not have my eyes burn and be bloodshot for four days I would’ve been extremely happy! She tried gaslighting me several times with comments like nobody there is out to get me… And they’re not just trying to take my money! I decided to invest in eyelash extensions to save myself some time in the morning, as well as look fabulous all the time with very little upkeep (other than the every-two-weeks appts, which are super relaxing anyway!). When I booked to see Angelica, I was very fresh and new. The first appointment, Angelica was amazing and spent tons of time showing me lots of different photos to give me an idea of classic versus hybrid versus volume. I ended up going with a hybrid "wet set" and I have been in love ever since, studiously booking my appointments every two weeks to look amazing all the time. She discussed cleaning and care with me, is always willing to work with me when I walk in and say "I want THIS style today" and always explains the details, i.e. sometimes it takes a few appointments to see a new look as you have to replace the lashes over the weeks as they fall out to get the look you want. I've had compliments on my lashes and how long and voluminous they are.

Are lash extensions an inexpensive service? No, but I can't imagine myself without them now. They really are so easy and look way better than just mascara ever could, plus I don't have to mess with falsies and the bad glue I could never get right. There are other places nearby that I had looked at, but none of them have the perfect (and deserved) 5-stars Winked does and like many cosmetic services, you get what you pay for! The salon is so incredibly clean, soothing, relaxing, and very chic. I've had great retention, no issues with allergic reactions or dermatitis, no "bad batches" of lashes falling out the first few days. Most of all I love my lash tech, who is sweet, soft-spoken, and has a great sense of humor. I highly recommend Angelica @ Winked for lash services.
