I called at 10:17 am for an appointment/service requested (need to use key words apparently I guess) for an eyebrow, and lip waxing. The person the phone told me to come in at 11:30 and I would be seeing Kelly. Ok, no problem. I get there at 11:25 and they ask if I have an appointment, I tel them yes, I called and made it for 11:30. They ask me again about 3 minutes later what type of appointment I made and I tell them an eyebrow and lip waxing with Kelly. They appear confused as to what I am unsure- but they are looking at what appears like an appointment book, and speaking to each other about something I wasn't able to hear but they seemed very confused. About 15 minutes later another person asked me if I was here for a wax and a manicure or pedicure. I again said no, just a wax. They asked if I made an appointment and I also said yes to this repeated question. Then they told me they are busy at the moment and it will be awhile for a wax. There were 5 people getting their nails done and 3 employees sitting in the pedicure chairs on their phone, for reference. I told them I can reschedule for a different appointment time today if they are busy and it's not an issue. Someone else chimed in and asked what I am here for again. It was at this point, everyone in the salon (employees and clients) were staring at me (probably because this was the 4th or 5th engagement of the same question and answer back and forth. I told them I don't mind rescheduling again, and they asked me why I won't wait. It wasn't about waiting-- I could wait for however long; it was about the repeated engagement of the same questions and answers, and eventually, I became uncomfortable for the unintended attention this issue was causing everyone in the salon. Employees were walking back and forth checking the book, the front desk girl was confirming to 3-5 people at a time and just the overall confusion was interrupting all the other clients. I ended up leaving and not making another appointment for today. I typically go to this location because it's close and I like Tammy, the owner, but this isn't the first time they have had issues with appointments, requested service, and being overall confused about why I am here (I've also seen it happen to other customers/clients) coming in after me or...
Read moreI love a good pedicure. Since becoming a mom over a year ago and working full time I rarely have had the time to treat myself. I decided to get a Mani/Pedi today and brought my little girl because the hubby was at work. The staff was nice to her and gave her suckers... That was probably the best part. Even though I was told a 5 minute wait, I was sat at the pedi chair and waited for at LEAST 15 minutes (being generous) after we waited the 5 minutes in my car. The lady that serviced me tried to push me to get gel polish and was coming off rude when denied. She told me it would take 30 minutes for my nail polish to dry and when I said that's fine she then said it would take 30 min to a hour. And I still told her no to the gel polish so she seemed even more rude. She never gave me a menu or asked me what type of pedi I wanted. She didn't massage my legs or feet or even put lotion on my feet (which I would assume is the bare minimum) I've NEVER walked out a salon with DRY feet. While she started my Mani, I noticed my nail polish wasn't even that great. She complained about me not getting gel nails while doing my Mani and when doing my nails I just got a clear coat and upon finishing that, I noticed that there was still dirt under my nails, she never cleaned under them. As someone who has gotten many Mani/pedis, I've never left with dirty nails. After the poor service I received, she had the nerve to ask me if I was going to leave a tip smh and then seemed to be complaining about it in front of my face saying "no tip (proceeds to talk in another language)" to her coworkers sounding annoyed. Wish I knew her name. I will never return. Also my sister got her first EVER pedi and she was super nervous and is insecure about her feet. The lady doing them had the nerve to show her all the excess skin she scrubbed off her feet in a disappointing way and told her that they were bad. I have NEVER seen such poor service. If I had not been her sister I would've still heard and seen everything as I was right next to her and that is just so mean and embarrassing. I do not advise anyone to waste...

I went to someone who did my nails previously and they knew I had nail fungus and they would not take my set off and just told me that they could file it away underneath my acrylic nails and it would be fine. I told myself that day that I would never go to that person ever again and I chose to go to wonder nails and met DUY Dewey. I explain to him about my situation with the nail fungus and he actually knew the nail tech that I was talking about. He took his time, completely cleaned my nails, he also got a second opinion from his coworker to make sure that we came up with the best plan for the health of my nails, he made sure to do his absolute best. I am so pleased with my nails and I will continue to go to DUY at Wonder nails. Also, the atmosphere on the salon is very light hearted, seems the techs are all very friendly and laughing with each other. It was just over all a great experience. Thank you DUY and wonder nails, see you in a few weeks! 10/10/22 Just had another great experience with Huang-DUY was on vacation so I was a little hesitant but as you will see by the photo, he also did a great job. I just love this place! 02/13/23 Back again to see Duey! Love his work, personality and kindness. The atmosphere tonight between all the staff was light hearted, and lots of playful laughter. They have a great group here right now and it was a pleasure to be here tonight. My son and my boyfriend got a $15 neck and shoulders massage from Tammy and they both nearly fell asleep it was so good! Will continue to come back here time and time again! Go check them out!
