Vesta Coffee Roasters — Restaurant in Las Vegas

I went to this place of business around 10:30 in the morning in the drive-thru. I was talking to a young lady she was very rude and disrespectful when I asked where they closing down because the sign wasn't up. She asked me why I asked and had a very nasty tone. As I'm placing my order she's rushing me through my order and cutting me off as I'm talking. As I told her to give me a second and how rude she was she passed the headset to a gentleman who was very nice and respectful. I asked the Gentleman what was the name of the employee that helped me before him so I can write a review he said he cannot give me her name. So I asked the manager Charles if you can give me the employees name who helped me before the gentleman he said that he couldn't give me her name either. I told Charles everyone has a name and if they work at a place of business a customer request the name of who they were talking to they should give it up no problem. This infuriated me because this is what Mom and Pop shops do to protect and cover up bad customer service with no accountability. I then spoke with Jared the owner of this establishment supposedly. He apologized but still would not give me the employees name who helped me. This is a major problem because employees there will feel like they can do whatever they want and be protected by the owners and managers. This lets me know the customer does not come first at this business. They also claim it's a safety issue why because I'm african-american? And I'm upset with the customer service that I was given. This is a racist establishment that will cover up and take no accountability because they have 'MYSTERY' employees there with no names if you ask. Horrible customer service do not spend...

I did not order any food, so my food rating is strictly for the flat white that I ordered for takeaway today. I’ve always heard very good things about Vesta, but my visit was a little bit disappointing for a specialty coffee shop.

I am used to 6 oz traditional flat whites, but their to go flat white was served in a 10 oz cup that was filled to the top. The milk texture was fine, but there was no latte art (probably because they put a lid on it, which is fair—I did order for takeaway after all). I don’t like my milk drinks to be piping hot, but this was lukewarm, at most.

None of the things above are a dealbreaker for me if I can taste and enjoy the coffee. I’m not sure if Vesta serves single-shot flat whites/cortados/macchiatos, but I really could not taste the espresso through the milk. Things are easier to taste when closer to body temperature too, so I was surprised when my lukewarm flat white from a specialty coffee shop tasted like a single-shot 16 oz latte, if I’m being a bit dramatic.

In fairness to the store, I called after I left to voice my experience and they offered a refund, but I am not one to take advantage of the whole customer is always right thing. I drank their product, so I don’t need a refund. They did say they hope they will make it right next time, and I hope so too. If I don’t enjoy my drink again next time I visit, I still wouldn’t ask for a refund; I simply wouldn’t come back and wouldn’t be able to recommend...

OMG!! today my partner and I went through the drive thru, and it was our first time ever coming here. He ordered a mocha w/ oat milk, and I just got a vanilla latte w/ oat milk, and we split the vesta breakfast sandwich. And let me be the first person to tell you how delicious it was!!! This place, you can tell they focus on their taste! The coffee was real coffee, with all the right notes of coffee, flavoring and milk! Their espresso was delicious! And the sandwich was extremely tasty, and just made w/ love!! It was about $30 (w/ tip included) for all three items, but I’d happily pay for it again!

I did not catch the employees name, but she was very kind, knowledgeable and very helpful navigating the menu! She even gave us a little treat for our dog!

We were in and out of the drive thru within 5ish minutes, and the ambiance of the outside of the building was like a true roasting co.! I can’t wait to come back and visit the inside!
