Iām truly obsessed with Yaw and the only thing keeping me from financial ruin is the fact that I live in the furthest part of Henderson where the freeway ends and then some so I canāt go as often as Iād like to.
Ian (the owner) is an actual angel on earth whoās somehow mastered the art of making coffee beyond what anyone could possibly conjure up in their mind. They roast their own beans and itās impressive to watch the work flow of how they assemble their yawttes. Iām not positive because Iāve never asked, but just from observation it looks like they may make their own syrups and maybe even whatever the dusting is they put on top of the blackberry yawtte which really just takes it to a different level. Iāve wanted to try the punkin pie but the blackberry yawtte is the definition of perfection so I just canāt get myself to break away from it, in due time though, I will surely get there. I swear there have never been such high levels of dopamine and serotonin flooding my brain than when I get my drink and take that first sip. I just have to take a moment and fully enjoy it before I can go about the rest of my day. Im really picky about coffee and Iāve been burned far too many times by recommendations of places that have been overhyped and are severely overpriced, so Iāll admit when I heard rumblings about Yaw Farms and their stellar drinks I was hesitant to say the least. I went in open to seeing what they were all about and left transcended to another universe with how unreal their blackberry yawtte was. I know I mentioned it above, but truly the love makes it evident how different this place is in all the tiny details. From how they source and roast their beans to that sprinkle of dust on top. For the quality and attention to detail that goes into each drink they could easily charge $10+ a drink, but their pricing is incredibly reasonable and theyāve never pushed tipping on customers (though I thoroughly believe they deserve to be tipped well for everything they do). Every single time I go itās the same perfect drink, theyāre consistent beyond belief and I love knowing any time I go Iām going to get the same quality drink I know and love. Iām third gen born and raised in Vegas and as of now there are only three places I regularly frequent and rave about to people who love coffee, and Yaw is at the top of my list. I know this is long but I swear I could write a doctorate level thesis on everything I love about Yaw Farms and now I just need to commit to buying some beans so I can have a little taste of Yaw in my neck of the woods.
Pros: the love in every single detail, consistency in every drink, fair pricing, the BEST customer service.
Cons: that I donāt get to start every single day with a yawtte.
If youāre reading this and theyāre open, just go right now and have your life changed and never be able to move away to the PNW like youāve dreamed of because youāll never find coffee this amazing again. But...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePure Joy poured into every cup. Been going here for the pour overs for the last few months (best in Vegas imo) finally decided to try a āYawtteā the other day and added the dark chocolate for Yawās version of a decadent iced mocha.
Let me put it this way... I love coffee. As an aficionado and connoisseur itās hard to impress me unless youāre a master of your craft. Even then I rarely find myself fantasizing about something I sipped days before outside of the local coffee shop.
Enter the Yawtte.
So simple, yet sophisticated.
Frothy oat milk that emboldens the already epic flavor of a perfect roast. Subtle notes of vanilla and dark chocolate that enhance the profile in the most complimentary ways possible. I would challenge anyone to sip this without a smile.
The exceptional ingredients that make Yaw the best in Vegas is second only to their technique. A āyawā is the action of pouring a pour over and also has something to with drones? Ask the owner when you go in heās a wealth of knowledge himself and happy to share.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām visiting Las Vegas from out of state thousands of miles away for a business trip, and I heard a lot about Yaw Farm Coffee Roaster, so I really wanted to check it out. I donāt normally drink coffee (Iām very sensitive to caffeine), but Iām currently researching coffee concepts, so I made the trip here.
My first visit was during a very busy moment the shop was completely packed, so I decided to come back another day. On my second visit, I came with a friend. I didnāt love the drink I ordered that day, but my friend got the cold brew and said it was excellent, so I wanted to return and try more items myself.
Today, I drove about 30 minutes to get there and planned to order 4 drinks to try and share. When I reached the counter, the cashier let me know that during busy hours they limit customers to two drinks per order. I understood, so I ordered two drinks and then got back in line to order the other two. However, the cashier informed me I still couldnāt place the second order at that time.
While I fully understand they were busy and trying to manage workflow, as someone who re-entered the line and traveled far to visit, it felt a bit rigid. I hope in the future there might be a little flexibility for guests who are willing to wait again.
That said I really appreciate the personal touch here. The owner brings out drinks to each guest and greets people with a friendly, short conversation, which is rare and really nice to see. The cold brew is excellent (which there was a little less on ice though), and the Yawtte was very good as well.
Overall, Yaw Farm clearly has a passionate following and great product. I just wanted to share my experience in a respectful way I would still recommend trying their cold brew. Itās...
