Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Lathrup Village

This location is one that I really really really try to avoid out of all the Jersey Mike's at any and all costs and I always regret going because I know the food is going to be substandard their tuna is always super wet more like a water consistency, most tuna you should be able to eat with a fork there tuna is more reserved for a spoon and this is always my experience after the fact my fiance lives near this location so that's why I go here maybe once or twice three times out of the year, the food prep area my experience is never maintained one time I was in there and the tomatoes were watering and you can tell because but tomatoes all were sagging and on the ends of the tomatoes they were curling over... The area behind the counter visible to customers is never clean is always trash on the floor, not a good look if you're selling food and this will be my last time visiting this location I promise you!!.... I have been to other Jersey Mike's and their store is always clean is always maintained even while they're making sandwiches they keep the food prep area free of other contaminants that might get on your sandwich that would change the taste of your order other Jersey Mike's are impeccable even doing busy rush hours other Jersey Mike's still maintain a very very high level of cleanliness.... This location lacks managerial oversight or franchisee oversight if this is a franchise store the owner arabiya same as a self to come into that store the way that it looks and walk back out and not the man that that store be cleaned and maintained. One more note it always amazes me when I going to this location there's always 4 to 5 employees working and no one is never ever cleaning what a waste of...

After surviving a truly bewildering week and feeling just completely downtrodden, I decided to give this Jersey Mike’s a try… half expecting The experience to just be miserable as the cherry on top of my perplexing week…. I have to say that’s the ladies and gentlemen that work at this location were professional. It was clean. I was greeted with a smile. They were helpful and choosing my order they were patient and kind with me, I had a lot Questions. After finding deciding getting my order completed, I realize that I left my jersey Mike’s gift card in the car and without without even a hint of annoyance or impatience… They let me go out to the car to get the card to pay. The food was ready when I got back inside, it was phenomenal. The quality of the service was five star the five star. The overall experience was phenomenal. The chicken Caesar wrap I got from here recently was one of the most disgusting things I have eaten. Whatever dressing was on it was tasteless and watery, making the whole thing a nasty, soggy mess. There was barely any lettuce and the little tomato that it contained was very pale pink and gross. There seemed to be part of a piece of American cheese and a huge glob of mayo (which I hate!) at the bottom of one end, and the other half randomly contained a banana pepper. I was really hungry so I ate part of the wrap and regretted it the rest of the night. My husband got a regular sub and while it wasn't the disaster that my order was, he said it wasn't that good. We really wanted to like this place because it's so convenient, but we won't be going back. I guess other locations might be better because this one seems to have lower ratings than others in the chain, but I wouldn't recommend wasting your time going here.
