This was my first experience and I have to say they exceeded my expectations! I love the small mom and pops whole in a wall because the food is very authentic and straight from the heart. No I am not saying it’s a hole in the wall but it’s not a franchise or watered down recipes that you are trying to make only just to keep up with the demand. I all diff types of food and I’ve had my fair share of going once and then going twice and it tasting completely different. My spouse and I were looking for a Jamaican restaurant and we came across this one accidentally because the one next to it was closed ( which is the popular) food chain. How ironic that they were closed and I chose this one because I was dead set on having home cooked food before we went back to RVA. I am glad I did and it was the best decision I made. I just came back home today and I am going to order again. When they were making the food I was telling my spouse, wow, this is a lot we won’t be able to finish it. And he said I know we will have some for later. Oh how I was so excited . The portion size for what we paid for exceeded my expectations and I was so happy that later on for diner we got to eat the left overs and might I add it was so good!!...

I went back to the restaurant and the lady at the front (who was kinda rude) was giving me a hard time and she wasn’t able to replace the order.
