R&R World Famous BBQ — Restaurant in Lauderhill

Updated: 08/26/22 As once upon a time this was one of my go to unfortunately it’s not anymore I decided to give them another try today since I was in the area I still see no improvement I wonder what’s going on, if this business is struggling or something the lack of portion and business and cleanliness of the interior. Unfortunately at this time I won’t be returning to this place again the food was not it, however the cup cakes was very delicious, unfortunately I don’t enjoy leaving upsetting reviews but I believe management need to do it and re-look at how business is running and the quality of the food, I will be lowering my stars from 3 to 1 if I could get zero I would use. Updated photo of my $20 plate with about 2 ribs and pieces when sides included. My last review the business did comment back and say the prices are going up but that does not mean lessen the plate! I pray this business does better and come out of the struggle they are in; has potential

Seems like if you get the ribs/chicken dinner you don’t get much meat. Food is good but I don’t be getting that dinner anymore it will either be chicken or ribs.. don’t receive $20 worth of...

You guys gotta do better with them portions if yall are going to be charging ppl an arm and a leg because me spending over $20 and still not being full is crazy! First and foremost up charging on the collard greens is crazy because there is no meat in there and the greens aren’t even that good, tastes “earthy”, second of all the seafood rice was literally only three spoons and when I say spoons you guys, I don’t mean big spoons that you use to share out food, I’m talking a small spoon u would use for cereal or something, then to top it off they literally gave me four little ribs with barely any meat on there. The only thing that I am willing to come back for is the shrimp because the shrimp was delicious and the sauce that came with it was very delicious. I got a rib dinner and fried shrimp and the shrimp was the BEST was the best thing that I ate to the point where I wish I had got a shrimp dinner instead. My main issue is the size. The small portion of sides u get is crazy. THE RIB DINNER IS NOT WORTH...

Wanted some soul food and decided to try another bbq spot than the other one I usually go to. I ordered two plates turkey wings rice and yams, the other one meatloaf rice and macaroni. For desert I ordered a pound cake and sweet potato pie. I waited 30mins for my food which was too long and I was getting impatient finally got my food and I went home. The food was so bland I had to add more seasoning to both plates! The yams was watery, rice dry and meatloaf had no gravy!!! I was so upset that I wasted my 38.00 on this. The pound cake was so thick you will choke if you don’t have water near by. The sweet potato pie didn’t have any flavor. The Mac and cheese looked like it came from a box and had no cheese flavor ! And the turkey wings were not flavorful!!! I will not return there for any food they need...
