They stole my money! Literally. If I could give this place Zero Stars I would! I placed an order on a mobile app for pick up at the drive-thru. I got to the restaurant and the drive-thru was closed. They had it listed as opened on the app. I have seen the app have things closed, so they should have listed it as closed. That was only the first issue. When I arrived, they had a sign saying mobile app order skip the line. I went up to the sign and I was told I had to wait in a line of a lot of who were all placing their orders and taking a long time. So, I don't know what the point of ordering on the app was since I definitely do not get to skip any lines. When I got to the register, I gave them my name and they processed my order. After it was processed, I was charged and they told me they did not have salads which was one of the items on my order. At that point I asked them to cancel my order. They told me they cannot cancel my order once it was processed and I had to contact the mobile app. I contacted the mobile app, and they told me that they cannot process a refund because it is a franchise and only the restaurant can do it. So now, I have literally lost $16.50. I have no food for lunch, and I got zero apology from any of the people working in the restaurant. They basically just told me I was screwed. No problem solving, not any type of assistance. Their customer service is extremely rude, not one person in that place was accommodating or friendly. I would never ever ever frequent this restaurant again. There are plenty of other Wendy's in the area and hopefully one of them has people working in it who are much more friendly, and accommodating than them. It was their mistake, they never should have accepted the order if they didn't have the items to fulfill it. Now I have lost $16.50 and I have to wait for their upper management of the franchise to contact me to process a refund. Who knows if that will ever...
Read moreI'm just curious why they prepare one order at a time. I was most recently at this location 2 weeks ago. I ordered ahead through a delivery app for pickup. I know they take forever but my daughter really wanted Wendy's. So I waited 15 minutes to leave my house. It takes 10 or so minutes so get there. I waited behind one person who was having their order done and then when I finally was seen in just under 5 minutes (I don't think I'm exaggerating but it certainly felt like it) and then I told the cashier I was there to pick up. They responded, "who are you?" I gave my name and my order still wasn't fully ready. I waited longer and when I finally got my food I checked it. I was missing 2 fries. But at their slow pace I wasn't about to wait behind the other people who walked in because I wasn't going to be acknowledged until they finished with each of the others. So I left. I could be like the delivery drivers and cut through and say something but at that point I was over it. From order to receiving the food it was 50 minutes. 50! This is why I normally stay away. For a while I'd come for breakfast through the drive thru and they were faster. But later in the day, forget about it. I guess if you're not going to wait in line in the drive thru then you aren't prioritized. I'm a pushover and like to give people grace and understanding. I have been here a total of 3 times recently in the evening hours thanks to my daughter. But this last visit will make it my last until management makes changes to how they service customers. They are not so short staffed that they need to do one order at a time for walk in customers. And please learn to greet people and let others know that you will be with them shortly instead of walking in the front and ignoring people until you ate ready to take an order. People are more inclined to give passes when you...
Read moreLet me start by saying I love Wendy's and this experience definitely will not affect my opinion of their food. Secondly I was hesitant to go to this Wendy's when I did simply due to the amount of bad reviews, but I sure do love Wendy's. I went to Wendy's yesterday around 2am last night and ordered a simple menu item. The operator was very polite and even greeted me through the drive-thru which doesnt happen often. When it came time to give me my order he informed me that it would be a min as the fries were not ready. Not a problem, but when he handed me my order it didn't feel as if the fries were fresh out of the fryer considering. My biggest issue happened once I got home and saw the worse Wendy's burger i've ever seen. I can't really describe it, but just picture a family member cooking on the grill for the first time and totally over cooking the patties. I still ate it hoping for the wendy's taste to still be there. Sadly it wasnt. I'm not sure what they did wrong, but def the worse. I didnt eat too many fries so I can't really speak for those. The worse part is I think I got a small case of food poisoning. Lets just say my stomach was highly upset with my previous meal that morning. A little mild diarrhea and I was back to normal by the end of the day. Might be best to go here...
