Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Laurinburg

I am a former employee for this Zaxby's so my review my seem a bit bias, however through out my experience working there I came cross multiple concerns that mainly dealt with poor business management that I feel needs to be voiced. This is self proclaim fast food restaurant but costumers often too many times complain about waiting 10-20 minutes after already having to pay a stiff price for the food. I never quite could figure out why there was always a hold up. The restaurant struggle to fulfill it's standards with excuses such as "Opps! we're out of toast, Sorry!" "Sorry for the wait" "Sorry about the mix up" etc.

There were a few managers who came off as overly condescending,acrimonious and domineering . I felt as if I treated and spoken to in a belittling matter, like I was a young child again. As if everyone in the blue polo was looked upon as the bottom feeder of the restaurant. But Hey :) if assistant manager salary makes you feel like you're on your high horse Go Figure! I also recall on one day I heard one assistant manager who evidently wasn't aware I was standing at a very close proximity and I over heard a highly inappropriate and discriminating derogatory joke about another trainee.

Under the list of requirements for this position it stated Entry Level 16+, however the training was very brief, hasty,chopping, and vague. It was like "You know it or You don't" kind of thing. Since this was my first job I was unfamiliar with most of everything. When it came down to officially being on the job I became very discombobulate. I brought my circumstance up the general managers but they were callous about it. Whenever I made an error even if it was for something very typical and trival, I got all this unessary attuitude, moans, goans and eyes rolls.

The store owner mention he hired double the capacity people he needed and than towards the end of the first month of the store grand opening most of us we be terminated. Pretty much if you didn't have a bit of experience or prior knowledge under you belt, you got the boot. There was one occasion in particularly where I was told by a manager "We only do but some much training. We're looking out for the benefit of the company so it's easier on us to replace you with someone who already understands than continue to donate towards you" Beyond that day I decided my time at Zaxby's has reach the end. Working there was a hell experience.

This was my first time going to a Zaxby's . I meant to go to one when I was in the Carolinas last time in 2019 , but I had so much good Country food and Carolina Bbq that I didn't go to one . This time just before I left to go back to Las Vegas , I went to this one October 11 , 2021. I have to say I was really disappointed . We have Raising Cane's in Las Vegas and I thought it would be on par with them , nope . Raising Cane's is soooo much better . The only thing I can say is that Zaxby's has a better selection of items to choose from . Raising Cane's is mostly Chicken Fingers , Texas Toast , Coleslaw , Sweet Tea , and one dipping sauce that is really good . They have a lot of locations and people love them .

I parked and went inside even though I was getting mine to go , so I could see how the inside looked . The drive thru lane was a little backed up anyway . After checking out the menu , I decided to get Chicken Fingers and Fries . I was going to try the Cajun Club Chicken Filet Sandwich and asked the cashier if she had tried it and she said no . I figured maybe I would try it next time . I got either the Zax Sauce or Spicy Zax Sauce , but it didn't taste any where as good as Raising Cane's . The floor by the soda machines was wet , I'm talking a puddle ! I got a soda at first , but it tasted like mostly carbonated water , so I poured it out and got sweet tea .

I sat for a while and I mean a while till I finally got my order . A couple people who came in after me got there food before me which was not nice . One guy came in from the drive thru while I was waiting and was complaining about something wrong with his order , like maybe they forgot something . He was not happy . I would like to try some of their different sandwiches and other items next time I come back to the Carolinas , but probably a different location like maybe Waynesville near where my...

My experience has been horrible since they have this manager dark skin with huge eyes. Her attitude is nasty. All I asked for was hot food. Not only was my food hot and not done but on top of that I had to wait almost an hour or more. I asked for my receipt. She gave me a receipt for food. I did not even order on top of that. When I call back in to complain about it I asked what's the name of the GM. She refused the name she refused to give me any service and all I asked for was full food and the receipt is for a refund. She said that they could not refund me if the food is not raw or there's hair in it. And I'm sorry but my food is definitely raw. My chicken is way overcooked and my fries are raw. This is unacceptable. I will complain to the better Business bureau. I've been calling corporate corporate says they can't do anything so if they can't handle business better than this, this will be the last time I will ever spend my money at Zaxby's And what's more more disturbing is the fact when I talk to the rest of the crew.
