I asked for a Big Mac meal with fresh new fries and they had an attitude as soon as I said that. I worked at this same McDonald for 2 years so I know when people say they want fresh fries most times they just drop it in the oil to make them hot, salt it and pass it off as fresh fries. I know this cause all of us did that including me and some managers (not all managers, the ones by the book didn’t) when I worked there. So I asked and said I can wait 3 minutes for new fries and I don’t want old fries dropped in oil again cause they’ve done that to me so many times and I just wanted new fries and they got upset. The guy who took my order handed me my drink in silence and slammed the window in my face. Ok whatever. Then the hijabi manager handed me my food and literally when I was looking in my bag to try a fry she goes “you can go now, you can leave” and she shoos me away with her hand like a dog not even 5 seconds after getting my bag. So disrespectful. I left then got a closer look at the food and yep the fries are old fries redropped. They are burnt, some are soggy and they taste and look overdone. I’ve had fresh fries and old fries so I know what fresh fries look like.
So I go back and explain and say can I get new fries without salt cause that’s the only way you actually get fresh fries most times. And when I got to the window the lady immediately said give me the fries so I can give you a refund. I told her I don’t want a refund and she started arguing with me and being condescending. I told her please calm down I don’t want to fight or create issue I just want fresh fries and she was like she is not gonna drop me any fries and the only solution is a refund cause she doesn’t care if I think they are old. So I just refunded the whole order. This happened April 11 around 11am and it was the hijabi black female manager.
I wasn’t rude, I didn’t yell, I was trying to explain but she talked over me the whole time raising her voice at me and everything. I know nothing is gonna come from this review, just wanted to share my experience. The customer service from her was horrible and then when I said just refund me she started mocking me. Like so unprofessional. Do better. All because I asked for...
Read moreI asked if 20 piece mcnuggets is a valid meal at the drive throughspeaker. Was told sure. Asked for that and a number 6 and a number nine - all large. Pulled around and got everything I should have but one fri. I alerted the widow crew and said we were missing a fry. I wasn't angry or demanding, just said "theres only 2 fries here." The stressed out manager came over and wanted to be belligerent, I guess she had her fair share of loud angry customers (which I was not) "you didnt order 3 fries" she barked at me. "I ordered 3 meals" I said calmly. No you didnt she argued snatching up a receipt inside the window to doublecheck. Look, maybe some people will haggle for a free pack of fries, but quite honestly they are less than 2$ and my kids were in the car and I have a limited lunch hour. I figured the guy taking my order just rang up the "meal" wrong and I would have to pay for a fry. No big deal, in fact my visa was in my hand this entire conversation. I was just waiting to hand it over when she asked for it (shut up and take my money has never been so true) she stalled for another few seconds arguing with the crew, then hotly turns back and telles me if I want another fry she will have to ring it up. I wiggle the visa and smile (no not that kind of smile, I was trying to de-escalate her) Somehow this didnt make her feel any better and she snatched the card, rang me up, and handed the bag of the fries out the window. As I drove away I passed the bag back to the kids to hand out. The funniest part was we ended up with a large, med, and small fry!
All the food was hot and fresh and they got my kids order for only cheese and ketchup on the number 9...
Read moreI am absolutely appalled by the treatment I received at this McDonald’s. I went in expecting the usual fast food experience, but what I got instead was completely unacceptable. I was using codes to place my order (as I’ve done countless times before), and the cashier had the audacity to yell at me for reading them "too quickly." Are you serious?! Last I checked, I wasn’t auditioning for a public speaking competition—I’m just trying to get my food.
It’s one thing to ask for clarification politely, but yelling at a paying customer is outrageous. This is McDonald’s, not a boot camp! The level of disrespect I experienced was embarrassing, humiliating, and downright unprofessional. If your staff can’t handle customers using the app as intended, maybe some serious retraining is in order.
To make matters worse, there was no effort to apologize or diffuse the situation. Instead, the cashier acted like I was the problem. This kind of behavior is the fastest way to lose loyal customers. I left feeling frustrated and unwelcome, and trust me—I’ll think twice before returning to this location.
Get it together, McDonald’s. Treat your customers with...
