This is a great Mexican restaurant to try if you're in Lawrence. We stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon and were immediately seated and given chips and salsa. Our waitress Dani was very attentive and friendly, as was the rest of the staff. My dad had accidently misread the menu and ordered a different meal then he thought he was ordering and the staff were great about quickly getting him what he actually wanted to order, with no hassle at all. We really appreciated it, especially since it was our mistake. The food tasted great. My dad raved about how good his enchilada was- even better compared to the one made at his favorite Mexican place so you know it was good good. My street tacos were tasty too. It wasn't busy at all so it was nice and quiet. It's a very nice looking place inside and it was VERY clean, sparkling almost. I also like the nice little outside eating area. Definitely would stop in again when in Lawrence.

*As for accessibility the is a lip on the front entrance and the door is very heavy. It might be possible to navigate a wheelchair through if the center tables are moved slightly out the way but a walker/rollator/crutches, etc., would be able to navigate just fine. The bathroom is large with grab bars but no automated...

BEWARE! if you use a credit card you will be charged 4% ON EVERY ITEM YOU ORDER AND NOT TOLD UNTIL YOUR BILL COMES. So my friend I wanted to try this new place and off we went. First, they need more help. It was obvious the 2 servers were overwhelmed. Second, margaritas are very watery (see photos). Third, the food is meh. I had a bean burrito suiza with rice and beans. It was so so. The salsa is very good as was the guacamole which was definitely homemade and not from a tub purchased at dillons. When my bill came (see photos) i noticed the prices were a bit higher than the menu. That's when I noticed the wording on the bill (see photos). I asked the server who was very nervous (not his fault) about it and he called the manager. The manager said that was the policy and that was that. Ok, so I gave him my debit card and the manager said, "same policy. 4% o a debit card." WHAT? ARE YOU KIDDING? it's a DEBIT card!!! Wow. Probably illegal to charge a debit card and I told him so. I will NOT be back. Disappointing that you need to blindside patrons with a 4% upcharge for using credit cards AND debit cards. NEVER EVER GOING TO FIESTA CANCUN AGAIN.

P.s. The fresh jalapeños tasted like green peppers. ...

My husband and I visited on an early Friday evening for the first time. We were greeted in kindness right away, and chose to seat outside. (The dining area actually smelled like someone had..blown up the bathroom.) The outside seeting was limited but nice. The salsa was the thin kind, no cilantro and tomato heavy, which is not what I prefer. My husband ordered shrimp tacos and they were not deshelled or deveined, and looked undercooked, so we opted to have the item removed from the ticket. (Also, they were served on flour tortillas that weren't grilled or toasted.) My chimichanga was topped with too much (barely melted) chewy cheese and I wasn't a fan. Our server was excellent and the staff was the saving grace for the experience, but I wouldn't recommend this place...

The music was excellent, it had me grooving th le whole time! I enjoyed the murals on the wall as well. There were a ton of different choices of tequila for our premium margaritas! I came in about 2pm, so there were only a couple of patrons there. Unfortunately, our waiter got the order wrong. We ordered pork carnitas and the fajita chimichanga. Only plain fajitas came out. The margaritas we ordered set at the bar for at least 5 minutes while our waiter joked and conversed with his friends. The food however was excellent! I would have left a 5 star review if it wasn't for the waiter. And I will definitely come back.
