The customer service is consistently awful at this location. I'm a long time Marcos customer and love the pizza and live right near this location, but we order from the Olio Road location because of how many instances of unbelievably rude workers, not answering the phone, poorly made pizza, and late deliveries... the Olio location workers said that the Pendleton location is notorious for the aforementioned issues and they hear complaints about Pendleton all the time. It's sad because I'm a big Marcos fan but whoever is running this location is not worthy of the job... the pizza and the company need people who are on board with providing their customers with an experience that is as high quality as their pizza can be.
I'm surprised they're still in business at this location because the service must be driving customers into the arms of other pizza joints and harming the business. They just put you on hold when you call and either don't come back or they'll just hang the phone up after two minutes of waiting. I tried to order from here tonight and was put on hold, waited for 3 minutes and they didn't come back to the phone. Called back put on hold and the guy came back and I was in the middle of the order and it just hung up. Read moreWhen this store first opened, I used to be its biggest fan and recommended it to everyone. The product, the staff, and the customer service was outstanding. Recently, I have had bad phone experiences-unintelligible associates, bad info on the specials, etc. The last time was 7/5/14. After finally figuring out what the clerk who answered the phone was saying, I ordered two large pizzas. When I got them home, I saw that the pizzas were BURNED. (not the first time they sold me burned pizza). When I called to complain, the manager told me he would give me a $20 credit on my account. Two weeks later, I tried to use the credit and was told there was no credit on my account. I asked for the manager (Fred, who formerly offered such great customer service) and he told me he could only offer me one free pizza. He then accused me of cussing at him when I was complaining, etc. He didn't seem to care one bit about customer service anymore. So, in summary, this formerly great place has gone to the dogs and I suggest you buy your pizza...
