I was treated with absolute disrespect when going through the drive through window. We were told we could only pay with cash and we simply asked if we could do two orders and were told “We only take cash.” I asked again if we could do two orders where both were paid with cash and was told “I don’t know, I just work here, but yes.” After that, I just said if it was easier to do one order we could make it work and they said “Mam you’re answering your own question. One order per car.” We then proceeded to order a McChicken with Mac sauce, a 10 piece nugget meal with Powerade and hot mustard, a McChicken, and a 6 piece nugget with buffalo and ranch. At the window, the worker did not know what we had ordered so we had to confirm it around 5 times, just to make sure. We also made sure to confirm it as he handed us our food because he was being extremely incoherent. What we received was, a double quarter pound with cheese meal with a Powerade and hot mustard and sweet and sour sauce, a McChicken with no mayo and no lettuce, a cheeseburger, and a 6 piece nugget with ranch and buffalo.The receipt was ripped in half on the side of the bag so it was impossible to see what we had ordered and to be able to go back once we had left and realized our order was wrong. I personally work in the food industry as well, so I get how difficult people can be, but we were nothing but understanding and kind and were treated with complete disrespect. I have never felt the need to treat a customer that way no matter what, because at a job you must act professional. Additionally, I understand slightly messing up a order, but we confirmed our order at the window several times. We actually took a recording, because our experience at the first stop in the drive through was so horrible we weren’t sure what would happen next. My 74 year old mother that came and drove 7 hours to come visit me from Cape Girardeau stop in to this McDonald's and proceeded to use the McDonald's app to buy a sandwich and cup of coffee she was trying to kill some time by played on her laptop and when she went up 30 minutes later to get a refill on coffee I do believe it was the manager she was a middle-aged woman with a bun in her hair, informed her that she could not have a refill because she left and if you leave the store you can't come back and have a refill and my mother proceed to tell her I didn't leave I've been here the whole time I've been in that Booth over there on my laptop and this woman was very rude very hateful an Unapologetic even when one of the other workers came to my mother's Aiden said yes she had been here the whole time and hadn't left then she finally gave her refill I'm very upset my mother she has spent so much money at McDonald's throughout the years where she lives in Cape Girardeau her and her friends that are senior citizens go to McDonald's in Cape Girardeau everyday and have breakfast and they have never been treated like this I hate that my mom had an experience this bad and she said she will never again come to that McDonald's again or let alone probably one here in Lawrence. Read moreI ordered mobile and added fries on to my order at the window that I didn’t receive, i realized when I got home and tried calling but no answer. I drove back and asked for the fries I didn’t receive and the man told me to pull through and get them, as soon as we get to the second window I show my mobile order and my receipt for the french fries and he immediately started accusing me of trying to steal from him and saying that his manager put them in the bag. I asked to speak with his manager because he had stood there arguing with us for 5 minutes. he REFUSED to let us talk to the manager and continued to say we were stealing and lying. I told him to let me speak with his manager to watch the camera and he stood there shaking his head and yelling at us. After no success of talking to the manager we asked what we were supposed to do since he wouldn’t give me a refund or my fries and he told us to come back in the morning so someone else can look at the cameras. We asked for his name and he said JB. Come next morning we come in and we ask another employee for the manager and it turns out he’s the manager that says he put my fries in the bag! the employee ended up giving me fries and apologized because he has been “tired”. i’ve never experienced something like this and apparently after talking to some people and showing them the recording of him yelling at me they’ve said he likes to try to argue with customers . I came back again and used my mcdonald’s rewards to get a free french fry with my app points since it was such a big deal and i was trying to steal from him for something i payed for and had a free item of.
